The butterfly begins to fly.

The summit ends, but the unveil journey does not. We carry it out of this room and into every conversation, and encounter that asks something real of us. Choosing to see clearly instead of looking away. Choosing to forgive, heal, and accept our past, not to leave it behind, but to build from it, something better for ourselves and for everyone around us.

Miale Leadership Summit – Day 4

A time to see clearly and emerge fully!

Some moments are difficult to put into words.

Earlier this month, together with my grandfather (Guka), my mother, my uncle and my team we delivered a portrait of my grandmother, Nancy Gacheke Moll, to Loolepo Moll Primary School, a school we established in 2024 and dedicated to her memory.

What followed was one of the most emotional and meaningful moments of my life.

The community received the portrait with such love, respect, and gratitude. It became more than the unveiling of a portrait; it became a celebration of a journey. A moment of thanksgiving for how far we have come; from a school under a tree to a school where children can learn, grow, dream, and thrive in a dignified environment.

As community members shared their appreciation for the support the Moll family has given over the years, many spoke about their commitment to keeping Nancy Gacheke Moll’s legacy alive through the school.

Then my mother spoke.

She shared how CUCU loved empowering people, helping them discover their talents and nurturing them to become the best version of themselves. She said that same spirit lives on in me.

I won’t lie. I shed tears.

My grandmother raised me for much of my life, and in that moment, I felt her presence in every classroom, every child, every smile, and every dream that will be born at Loolepo Moll Primary School.

While the school’s official name is Loolepo Moll Primary School, its heart will always carry the legacy of Nancy Gacheke Moll, a woman whose love, generosity, and belief in people continue to inspire us.

What started as a tribute has become a living legacy.

A reminder that one life, lived with love and purpose, can continue to impact generations long after we are gone.

Thank you, CUCU.

Your story continues. ❤️

Memories from Amboseli ✨🐘🦒🫶🏽 Had the opportunity volunteering with @standupshoutout and it was one of the most amazing experiences to say the least. We had the community over on day one for engagement on how to best promote coexistence between wildlife and the community around ,it was really inspiring to see men, women and young people come together to amicably find the best ways possible to promote coexistence.
We headed to Loolepo Moll Primary School and everything this day really touched my heart in ways I can’t explain. From being with the little angels and getting to play ,laugh and just see them all happy reminded me why we do what we do and change truly starts with you!spent time with them and bonded in their new classrooms was really soooo heartwarming I was truly glad to see n be part this beautiful touching achievement!✨🫶🏽

Day 3 was OSCF and everything this day was electric!Getting to see young people very energetic ,embracing and showcasing their beautiful Maasai culture while incorporating aspects of conservation and coexistence was truly inspiring.I got to experience what it truly means when we say Kujituma Kujitokeleza na Kujiamini.Everyone’s energy was over the roof and you could feel the Aura from every performance,I mean you had to be there to get what I mean 😁.

I also met amazing people whom made everything soo amazing .Everyone was just so kind, helpful and so in sync that everything felt like a puzzle falling in place.Im glad to have met and interacted with everybody as I got to learn a lot ,different perspectives and it was truly amazing. From the shared laughs ,talks ,games and memories ,all I can say is I’m glad to have met everyone!🫰🏽.

From the experiences, the laughs, the chaos ,the culture ,the ideas and the lessons,Left with hearts full of gratitude, stories to tell ,memories to cherish and spirits yearning to do more !✨

Day 1:LIVING SAFELY WITH WILDLIFE TRAINING under our Ubuntu Coexistence flagship, conducted in Samburu by @savetheelephants

Our Day started with power. At base camp, our CEO @itspetermoll gathered these women for a wholesome brief reminding them of what they carry: the weight of their stories, the authority of their lived experience alongside wildlife, and the magnitude of what they are about to become. You are here because your communities need you. Because coexistence demands more than reaction it demands preparation, knowledge, and women who will stand at the frontlines with tools that work.

Then came the joy. Pure, uncontainable joy. The women arrived at the training center in song, in dance, in celebration expressing what it means to be here, to be chosen, to be equipped.

And then, the work began✊🏿

Over a series of powerful sessions,12 community coexistence champion women and 3 rangers from Purity Lukara @ifawglobal Lioness and Mercy and Susan Lemomo from @biglifeafrica learned how Save the Elephants tracks, protects, and lives alongside wildlife here in the north. They explored elephant collaring technology how collars are fitted, how they transmit data, how that data becomes life-saving information. They dove into EarthRanger the platform that turns GPS tracking into real-time alerts, pattern monitoring, and predictive early warning systems. They learned how STE uses this technology not just for research, but to protect both wildlife and the communities living alongside them.

As the rangers, selected coexistence champions, and some of our staff dove deeper into the technical aspects of EarthRanger and MIKE protocols, the community women had a powerful exchange with the Mama Tembos — community women empowered and supported by STE who live the reality of safe human-wildlife coexistence in their own landscapes. The exchange was electric. Knowledge flowing both ways. Strategies shared. Experience validated. Laughter, recognition, solidarity.

This is Ubuntu Coexistence in motion. Women and rangers learning together. Indigenous wisdom meeting technology.Conservation that recognizes: we are safer together people and wildlife when communities lead.

✨️Experience God's Presence for Yourself✨️

"I know what you have done. I have set an open door before you, which no one can close. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.” - Revelation 3:8

The day I said YES to God and stepped out in Faith, I have known Him for Myself. I understand that what God wants to do through me is that it's going to be different from someone else.

He has been the God of the promise and the process💯.

📌 I can’t wait to share more!!

This next season is unfolding in God’s timing.

Miale Leadership Summit gave us space to Reframe, to redirect, to re-envision, to reinterpret. Reframing our why. Daring to dream bigger and move bolder, to restructuring how we think.

“How you do anything, is how you do everything.” Caleb Ombuna , our Programs and Formation Consultant, walked us through what it means to reframe your mindset. To break through limitations and remain unwavering in the pursuit of our dreams.

From frontlines to headlines

The theme for this year’s International Day of Education perfectly captures what we see every day: the incredible power of youth to co-create their education.

When we recognize the youth as active partners, not just recipients, they become powerful drivers of change.

This is why our commitment to mentorship and educational support is so vital. The ability to give hope, nurture big dreams, and empower students to motivate peers around them.
