💬 A security guard's endless night shift is interrupted by a strange voice on his walkie-talkie. At first he dismisses the woman as an inconvenient headache, but she has truths to share that will fundamentally challenge his very reality.

NightShift is a mysterious short film about an unexpected encounter that challenges everything its protagonist believes to be real.

From an unnatural tide, a salary man emerges, still carrying the weight of the life he escaped…

Salary Man is the first of three ultra-short films I'm experimenting with in 2026 as a renewed exploration of cinema.

@entropy_reimagined, from Muizenberg High, completed the lineup. They are an instrumental band with smooth tunes and a polished sound. A joy to listen to.

Next up is @chromatic_kisses_official, from Westridge High. They’re Jazz Pop and feature a number of resilient musicians who kept showing up despite the challenges. The definition of persistent 👌

I collaborated with @masquetheatresa earlier this year to photograph four bands participating in their Battle of the Bands: High School Edition production.

These bands were selected for a mentorship programme that helped sharpen their skills and boost their confidence, culminating in one grand event on stage.

The first band is @rehab_ndh, from Fish Hoek High. They’re rock ‘n roll through and through and are electric with raw energy.
