Your monthly payment should be one that fits comfortably into your budget and lifestyle while still allowing room for your other financial goals.

One of the biggest surprises for first time homebuyers is realizing that having enough money for your down payment doesn’t necessarily mean they’re financially prepared to purchase a home.

Your downpayment is just ONE piece of the financial picture. There are other expenses that can come up before you ever get the keys to your new home that you are responsible for.

Now, YES there is a possibility that you may qualify for down payment assistance or the seller may agree to contribute to your closing costs through concessions. BUT here’s what you need to understand… they aren’t guaranteed and may not cover the full amount.

🌤️ 3 PM – Check parking, after-school activity, and how busy the streets get.
🌙 9 PM – Pay attention to noise, lighting, safety, and the overall vibe after dark.
