A “praise the Lord for His goodness” post. 5 months ago yesterday a social worker sat beside my hospital bed and asked if I had my affairs in order because the staph infection in my bloodstream was winning and I might not make it. 5 months ago today I went in for emergency back reconstruction surgery to attack the infection in my spine. Yet because of the Lord’s goodness today I walked 5 miles in honor of those 5 months and continue to heal! It has been a painful road but my Heavenly Father has met me in the hard stuff. I am so blessed to have my wife and family at my side battling with me
There still is a long road ahead but my gratitude meter is off the charts. Thank you Lord. 💙✝️🙏🏼 by @cloud9roger

Valley Christian team basketball retreat 2026-27 photo dump! What an incredible 4 days of fun, fellowship and challenging conversations! This group is so special and truly love each other. What an honor it is for our staff to serve the Valley Christian community. We have already grown so much and the journey together is going to be a blast. Such a blessing hear these guys talk about the team’s purpose to bring God glory, and be people of biblical excellence on and off the court. 🙏🏼💙😍 by @cloud9roger

so many praises to my heavenly father this morning. 12 1/2 weeks removed from surgery and I just walked the park this morning without my cumbersome back brace for the first time. So very grateful.🙏🏼❤️✝️ by @cloud9roger

Thank you @silverwavesmedia for this honor!
Recognitions like this are not individual. It is a staff and community recognition! There is so much emotion and thanks to my heavenly Father and to my family. Then of course, to all of the many coaches that I have had the opportunity to serve side by side with. We have had the opportunity to be around so many great players and wonderful young men!!
And to our Valley Christian community who have been so supportive over the years.
So very grateful to answer the Lords calling to be a coach. by @cloud9roger

Happy 250th America. Our country has brokenness and division and yes we have A LOT of work to do. Yet, I still woke up in the greatest country in the world with freedoms I am so grateful for.
