This one is very special to me 💗

Late this winter, my husband Bryan @bryan.c.wolf and I started making music together again (a.k.a. @cloudlightmusic ) - this is our 1st recording together since the pandemic (+1st time sharing something since 2019).

And it's a song we loved (and still love), that was in our regular rotation in our early dating years - Big Jet Plane by Angus & Julia Stone 🧡@angusandjuliastone @juliastone__

Thanks for the beautiful music, Angus and Julia! Hope you like our version.

If you're curious, cloudlight originals are at cloudlightmusic.bandcamp.com :)

xoxo
Jessica

p.s. Please enjoy our baby pics :) (first few months of dating lol, 2014) 💗

lots of beautiful things on the horizon. songs in the works for years by bryan - some jessica in the rainbow songs being reworked for the new cloudlight record, plus a couple new ones too - spring is here, which is a reminder that frozen things bloom again, and even a broken shut down heart can feel the warmth of the sun and be a person in a body and be alive again. love your neighbors, love yourself, hope is real and creates the world. ❤️xo - jj by @cloudlightmusic

hello good morning. working on old new cloudlight material, this song has half finished lyrics and the song is sort of about melancholy/existential feelings of sameness and repetitive motions and obligations. we will release a full length I promise. by @cloudlightmusic

💕memory lane.

long before cloudlight (which came to be because of our friend @johnmarkhanson - taking a chance on us making up a band for @lamp_light_media music festival in twenty sixteen...before then we only played separate shows and separate sets, with rare moments of collaboration and connection like this 💕)

video courtesy of our dear friend @catjacksonart (and screen capture technology). at the pavillion (r.i.p.), grand haven, michigan.

this song is a cover of mother hen, by boris smiles 💕

peace and love to all in these broken, healing times.

the first impromptu cloudlight practice in months, head over to @jessicaintherainbow if you would like to watch the full song (jess was recording some old songs for posterity when bryan joined in, not knowing she was live on instagram💕) .

this is from ‘silent’ - a not-yet-released track from the pulse nightclub massacre in twenty sixteen.

peace to all people, especially those affected by hate crimes. 💔

hello friends (: i just wanted to let you know that in light of the quarantine and virus pandemic a large group of west michigan artists have rallied in an effort to support @pyramidschemegr during these troubling times. it’s beautiful to see musicians supporting each other and the venues we love during this time. each member of cloudlight (including our former drummer siiuh) have submitted a song to the @hoomhits quarantine compilation and you can listen to all of them on the hoom hits bandcamp page. if you are able to support live music in grand rapids please consider donating some of your cash in exchange for some rad music all written and recorded during these troubling times. we may not always have safety or peace of mind, but we will always have each other to support and grow as a community. can’t wait to see you all at the other side of this. peace, love, and cloudlight. -b by @cloudlightmusic

bryan is such an understated human being - his vibes are the dreamiest and he makes me a better person. 💕if you blinked you might have missed his newest track so i am sharing it here - you can listen to his ambient looping song ‘wild and free’ on soundcloud, if you would like his dreammaster spirit to rub off on you too. link in our bio or his. (also i released something on the same day coincidentally - visit my bio for the link to my solo bandcamp - ruff songs from 2014, one is a love song for bryan actually 💕) and regarding cloudlight recordings in the works, thanks for the positive vibes, we have been inspired and i laid some initial tracks down yesterday for four new songs...some surprises ahead for sure. stay tuned xo jj ❤️p.s. shoutout to @ditch.lily_ for making everyone feel loved and seen, i never tire of your ‘likes’ 😊
