This one is very special to me 💗

Late this winter, my husband Bryan @bryan.c.wolf and I started making music together again (a.k.a. @cloudlightmusic ) - this is our 1st recording together since the pandemic (+1st time sharing something since 2019).

And it's a song we loved (and still love), that was in our regular rotation in our early dating years - Big Jet Plane by Angus & Julia Stone 🧡@angusandjuliastone @juliastone__

Thanks for the beautiful music, Angus and Julia! Hope you like our version.

If you're curious, cloudlight originals are at cloudlightmusic.bandcamp.com :)

xoxo
Jessica

p.s. Please enjoy our baby pics :) (first few months of dating lol, 2014) 💗

Earthwork Harvest Gathering flashback #3 of 3 = 2019!

This was a wild year for me personally, also for the band @cloudlightmusic - we kicked off our tour with this set, in the rain (first time loading gear at a fest in the rain, wild!)

Saw so much good good music this year, so much not pictured, but here's a few highlights and favorite pics. Friends and the love of my life and music and Michigan and even @samuelsethbernard joining us on our set, for a song written after the 1st time playing at @earthworkhg 2 years earlier (the one written in the kitchen during the 365...which Seth later added guitar parts for, and then joined us here when it briefly became a cloudlight song - it's called 'Everything is a Song' if you'd like to listen on Spotify, it's on the Friend Ship album, pink cover, Jessica in The Rainbow, mixed by @bryan.c.wolf :)

Anyway thank you for memory laning with me. Tomorrow I'll speed thru 4 years in my mind, up to speed with this beautiful beautiful present moment. 2 days til Harvest 2023!!! xo

It’s like Christmas morning 🎄...someone at DIY tour postings made this new app / site called BNDCMPR and it’s a m a z i n g 💕💛⭐️

Finally all the peeps who love supporting and buying people’s music once they’ve listened to it a few times, but maybe hated the absence of playlists, can finally have a little shareable collection in the ether.

Thanks @lonbeshiri (not sure if this is you, just tried @ + your name :)

Make your own! It’s fun n easy https://bndcmpr.co 💛xoxo Jess

Just announced! In the clouds vol. 2 is a work of great love and care, and I asked about twice as many people to be on it! (And it has 40 tracks, for only $10!) and proceeds are going to the very wonderful @pyramidschemegr and also to the @naacp legal defense fund. You can read more about our change of plans at @in_the_clouwdzs or in the liner notes at inthecloudsmi.bandcamp.com (long story short, we recently changed it from it being a 100% fundraiser for PScheme, in support of everything going on right now, hopefully we’ll raise 2x as much, to support them both)...we love you all. If you buy it tonight, 100% of the proceeds go to these deserving places, but after that it’s still ~90% (split between the two, of course we take no cut). We love throwing shows and creating community, and I’m exceedingly grateful for all the good energy that has been sent our way today. Love and hugs, now go listen to 3 hrs of great music! Xoxo Jessica .

Hello! Here it is, volume 2! Album art by the incomparable @maddiejacksonart 💛🙌💕Link to music in bio. Please read the liner notes and visit the sites of these great artists <3 Also, please note,100% of the funds raised from the compilation were originally meant to go to The Pyramid Scheme @pyramidschemegr <3 an amazing inclusive music venue in Grand Rapids, Michigan, hit hard by COVID-19. But we decided in light of everything going on right now, to split the $$ between them and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund @naacp . Every penny you give goes to these two places - so if you have been meaning to donate (or donate more) to either of those places / organizations, here's your chance to get 40 great tracks as a bonus :) $10 or more, please give what u can.
Thanks for your support! xoxo Jessica & Bryan .

we are happily surprised to have received two jammie nominations this year, for our live at @dogtownstudio ep (much love to you robby tito and logan 💕), alongside our @jessicaintherainbow ‘s wildly ambitious ‘twelve albums in twelve months’ project. if you enjoy voting for things, we are up for both ‘best alternative album’ and ‘album of the year, with the latter having a ‘listener’s choice award’ component. link in bio, including list of all nominees💕please feel free to vote for us, but know that we are included alongside some truly great musicians in the scene here, some of whom poured years into these records, a few of whom are friends of ours, and we wish EVERYONE full hearts and that great spirit of connectivity and positivity that comes from working and creating beautiful things and being part of a music community together, sharing our hearts and minds and personal wisdom with each other. xo❤️
