Couldn’t resist shooting our new mattress from @naturalmatbaby outside before we wrangled the new bed upstairs!
I’m still as obsessed with wool as when I fell in love with it when F was born 10 years ago. Wool naturally regulates your temperature creating the perfect environment for sleep. The hand nested springs provide support and bounce. These chaps are so busy in the day, knowing they are sleeping soundly on natural materials is a joy to me.
The mattresses are hand made in Devon - I can only imagine what a workshop full of springs, cotton and wool looks like, I’m sort of imagining it’s like a big cloud factory!
Thank you Naturalmat Baby for putting in the all the hard work so we get to, literally, sleep soundly at night! 🌙 ✨

When you raise your tiny baby, with love and laughter and games, and send them out into the world, ask yourself why it matters what another’s beloved baby looks like? Why their hair should be a certain way? Why they should only love a prescribed colour?
Remember how you did your best to make your baby happy, and show them all the things you loved about this world. Remember how your heart broke when your little one was sad or hurt. Remember the power of words, and remember that my little boy bab, enjoying pigtails and sparkly hair ties, because who doesn’t love a bit of sparkle?! …does no damage to your carefully constructed world, but your words can damage his.

Felt it was about time to make a page of our makes - all the things we have created to bring magic to our three boy’s childhoods. The ‘Tea Door’ was a request by our middle son one Christmas, pictured is our interpretation of his imagination ☺️

Hi, I’m Lex, mother of 3 humans and 3 businesses. On Friday I poured wet dog food into the stew for our dinner. I didn’t notice until my 4 year old, who was dutifully stirring the chutney we were making, shouted “OH MY GOD!”. How are you doing?
