Cardiff! Want to make friends doing something you love? That’s why we’re launching CreativeMornings/Clubs! From crafting to photography to whatever you’re into, you’ll find other people who enjoy it too. Now you don’t have to wait until a Friday morning to feel the CreativeMornings magic because different Clubs meet on different days. And even at night!  Best of all, you can start a Club. Yes, YOU! Whatever you’re into, you can host a Club about.  ‼️ We need a total of 10 Club hosts to submit an application in Cardiff in order for Clubs to launch here. Plus, you’ll be part of the CreativeMornings/Clubs Founding Cohort in Cardiff! Get the details at CreativeMornings.com/clubs. CreativeMornings/Clubs are happening around the world and we’re grateful to our global patron @TheHarnischFoundation for fueling this growth! What makes a good Club? 👉 These gatherings are meant to be intimate. Usually 5 to 20 people. Small enough that everyone learns each other’s names. 👉 Hosted face-to-face IRL. In a park, someone’s home, a cafe, or wherever feels right for your people. 👉 Centered on belonging and joy. It is about presence, not performance. There is no audience, only participants. 👉 Always free to attend. You can ask people to chip in for materials (for example for craft supplies or snacks), but most Clubs don’t have any operating costs at all. You don’t need a polished idea, a huge social media following, or a big budget. You just need something you love doing, a bit of consistency, and the willingness to be brave and put yourself out there. Here’s how to get started You can apply to host a Club on our website. The application walks through everything you will need to launch your Club. Creative Mornings has prototyped CreativeMornings/Clubs in 12 cities and they are quickly rolling out in more cities around the world. ‼️ We need a total of 10 Club hosts to submit an application in Cardiff in order for Clubs to launch here. (We’ve learned that this is the optimal number to establish a sustainable ecosystem of thriving Clubs.) Plus, you’ll be part of the CreativeMornings/Clubs Founding Cohort in Cardiff! Tickets for October’s talk with Owen Friend are now LIVE! Link in bio! 🐠 Owen is a designer based in Barry. His talk ‘Side Quests’ explores the creative projects and ideas that sit alongside his client work - the things he makes and does simply because he wants to. His favourite creatives always catch him off guard with something a bit unexpected and in a world where mentors are telling us to ‘niche down’, he finds it quite refreshing to do the opposite! 👉 Get to know Owen: @owen__friend 📅: Friday 30th October ⏰: 8:30-10:00am 📍: @tinyrebelcardiff 🥧: Breakfast provided by @donalds.uk Ticket link in bio, see you there! 👋 #cardiffevents #creativemornings #cardiffcreatives #cmaltitude by @cm_cardiff

We’re absolutely delighted to announce Owen Friend as our speaker for October! Owen Friend is a designer based in Barry. He has been self employed on and off (mainly on) since 2018 and ‘specialises’ in branding, but if he’s being completely honest, he’s a bit of an all rounder who just loves variety in his work. Owen gets his client work done from the shed at the back of his garden, and it’s also the place where most of his side quests start… His talk ‘Side Quests’ explores the creative projects and ideas that sit alongside his client work - the things he makes and does simply because he wants to. His favourite creatives always catch him off guard with something a bit unexpected and in a world where mentors are telling us to ‘niche down’, he finds it quite refreshing to do the opposite! 🎟️ ON SALE FRIDAY MORNING 📍 Tiny Rebel, 25 Westgate Street, Cardiff ⏰ 8:30-10:00am 🥧 Breakfast provided by Donald’s pies! @owen__friend @tinyrebelcardiff @donalds.uk #creativemorningscardiff #cmcardiff #cmaltitude taken in Tiny Rebel Cardiff by @cm_cardiff
