Fascinating morning listening to @alexlloydjenkins of @designedforlife_studio, the creative mind behind one of my favourite albums and album covers, Original Pirate Material by @thestreetsofficial__ 💿

It was also another first for me this week, attending @cm_cardiff, hosted by @thiswomandesigns and @drawanddeliver. Still fairly new to freelance life, so everything seems to be a ‘first’ at the moment!

Such a good event at @thecanopicardiff, and I’ll definitely be back in August - if only to ‘co work’ with Bonnie the resident dog again 🐶🐶🐶

My tummy is already rumbling for @secretgardencf 🫠

New level of cuteness unlocked! Enjoy these pressed flower dishes I unloaded from the kiln this week. I think the platter or fern is my ultimate fave 🤔

These will now be glazed and fired at over 1200°c so that they are food safe and to make the colours pop. Will get to see the final results in a week or so!

If you want to have a go at making your own pressed flower dishes or a vase, check out the link in my bio for Pottery in the Park workshops. We'll be in the lovely @butepark visitor centre, surrounded by nature, with coffee and cake from the wonderful @secretgardencf ❤️

POTTERY IN THE PARK! #Cardiff, I have two new workshops for ya!

So excited to be hosting these pottery workshops @butepark Visitor Centre, with snacks and drinks from the lovely @secretgardencf 😍

We'll be making cute handbuilt bud vases on May 16th, then just over a month later we're making dainty pressed flower dishes - perfectly timed for summer florals and relaxed hosting.

Both events are suitable for beginners and in an accessible space surrounded by the glorious Bute Park in bloom 🌸

All pieces will be fired and glazed then posted securely to you shortly after.

Tickets for each are available now on Eventbrite and via the link in my bio. It's gonna be a really fun mini series!

Who are you gonna bring?!

Okay story time…2016 you said? Okay 2016 Melin was clueless, innocent, still not free…
So much changed since then, but I am proud of her for keeping going, managing a very hectic mind, and very challenging times… D

Do you remember your 2016 self?
