Celeste woke me up to take the dog out last night. As I walked out the back door I felt something hit my head. Not awake fully I thought it was maybe a lizard 🦎 we have geckos. But No!!! A Bat 🦇 Nosferatu was trying to get in our house or I trapped it in the screen door. However, the inside door didn’t get closed and if I tried to free it, he would probably gone in the house, then imagine how hard catching it would be. So I had to get a Celeste up to come close the door. Opened the screen door and off he flew to the ground finally off into the night. by @cmcbridetulsa

Seventeen years ago today, my world changed forever.
It was this day 17 years ago the moment I laid eyes on the most beautiful woman in the world. She was coming from Skelly Lodge front porch to
the alter becoming my everything.
She’s my true love, my guiding light, my best friend, and beautiful 👻Boo. From that instant, I’ve been blessed beyond measure. Her presence filled my life with joy, purpose, a love so deep it still leaves me breathless.
Every day since, I’ve awoken with gratitude in my heart, cherishing the gift of her by my side. She’s given me more than I ever dreamed possible with love, laughter, strength, and a home in her heart. Through the ups and downs of this twisted world, she’s been my compass, my calm, my constant, my rock.
It’s hard to believe more than two decade, have passed from our first meeting. I can’t believe my love for her feels as fresh and fierce as the very first day. God thank you for her love, and I pray for many more years of this beautiful woman and our journey together.

Celeste and I are heartbroken. We said goodbye to Henry on Saturday. He was an amazing part of our family for almost 16 years. He loved going on trips either in the car and especially in “HIS truck.” It wasn’t our truck because when I left without him he gave me that look. It didn’t matter where we went he loved going to see Halloween decorations, blow ups and Christmas lights. He was a special little dog that will be hard to forget. by @cmcbridetulsa

Rosie has her good days and then not so good. I think she was tired and tried to end it by short circuiting by water electrocution. by @cmcbridetulsa

I almost caught one of the coolest moon rising behind the clouds could not record fast enough to get eclipsing the clouds with the camera but my eye caught it and it was cool by @cmcbridetulsa

January 22-25, 2026 will forever be known as 'The Blizzard that could reset the clock.' Total of 12”+ of snow in wave after wave, high howling winds at first, followed by snow that would never seem to get here due to Dry air. But then once the humidity arrived, nonstop snow, sleet, and more snow. taken in Tulsa, Oklahoma by @cmcbridetulsa

Tonight, we sampled Trader Joe's Holiday Hash, a medley of butternut squash, celery, red onion, sweet potato, sage, and rosemary. Sautéing it in a skillet with a drizzle of EVOO brought out its roasted flavors, which I then seasoned with salt and pepper to taste. I served it over long grain wild rice.
To elevate the dish, I recommend adding garlic. The leftovers will pair well with egg whites tomorrow. We would definitely repurchase, particularly during the holidays. MF Seasoning Co where I get Pepper Krack and Rosemary sea salt check out Toni’s selection of seasonings. by @cmcbridetulsa

Dinner for tonight consists of roasted potatoes, onions, radishes, carrots, zucchini, squash, and brussel sprouts, seasoned with EVOO, rosemary sea salt, pepper crack, thyme, and sage. Celeste, assisted by chopping the vegetables, while I manage the roasting process? It was delicious and filling. by @cmcbridetulsa

Celeste and I would like to express our gratitude for the numerous get well wishes and thoughts sent our way. On Monday, I underwent a carpal tunnel nerve release procedure on my right hand to alleviate the persistent neck, arm, and hand pain. The condition had progressed to the point where it was challenging to close my fist, and my fingers were frequently numb and swollen. Dr. E. Weldin performed the procedure admirably, and her continued expertise will be instrumental in addressing the issues with my left arm and hand next month. Following the surgery, I will still require rehabilitation to regain normal functionality. by @cmcbridetulsa

Celeste and I recently tried a new Black Bean Burger recipe. During preparation, the Cumin shaker top came loose, resulting in an overpour of approximately 6-8 tablespoons into the ingredient bowl. This was far exceeding the required 1 teaspoon. Although this mishap occurred, I am confident that the excessive Cumin will not have adverse effects. Furthermore, we plan to exclude fresh cilantro in future attempts due to its tendency to impart a soapy taste. They were not bad, and delightfully tasty. by @cmcbridetulsa
