To all of our Chelsea Music Festival Friends- audiences, artists, partners, team, one and all, we are so grateful to have celebrated our 16th Season with all of you! What a season! So many sold out nights of music that spanned the centuries from as far back as the Middle Ages reviving Hermann of Reichenau, through Swiss composers Honegger, Martin, Winkelman & Bloch, all the way up to World Premiere performances of 2025 Festival commissions by John Patitucci and The Brothers Balliett! And all of it interlaced with beautiful art, delicious food, and such great company. We hope you enjoyed trekking these Swiss Trails together as much as we did! Thank you all so much for another adventurous season!🇨🇭⛰️🥾

The 2026 season of the Festival remembered September 11th with the artwork "Trying to remember the color of the sky on that September morning" which accompanied the world premiere of @william.susman's "Clouds & Flames" - a meditation on loss, remembrance, and rebirth. This artwork is on permanent display at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.

Copland and Twain, live from Broadway. ✦

This year’s Chelsea Music Festival brought us to Times Square for the first time: Aaron Copland meeting Mark Twain just days before America’s 250th birthday. Five actors, a camber orchestra under Ken-David Masur, and Bill Barclay’s staging turned the Mississippi, the Midwest, and the American vernacular into a night on stage.
