A little look-back on summer adventures near and far…from @cmf_nyc and @charles_ives_music_festival to @berkshiresummermusic and @carogaartscollective, so many beautiful people and music, and more learning, laughter, and inspiration than I could’ve asked for 🩷 Feeling very lucky for this summer and all the artists and friends who made it so meaningful. One for the books 🎶

Good music calls for a classic refreshment. 🎶🥤 Freedom Cola joined @cmf_nyc for five events during the Chelsea Music Festival’s “Every Story Counts” series, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary through music and storytelling. ❤️🤍💙 We were proud to be along for the celebration!

Copland and Twain, live from Broadway. ✦ This year’s Chelsea Music Festival brought us to Times Square for the first time: Aaron Copland meeting Mark Twain just days before America’s 250th birthday. Five actors, a camber orchestra under Ken-David Masur, and Bill Barclay’s staging turned the Mississippi, the Midwest, and the American vernacular into a night on stage. #livetheatre #newyorktheatre #performingarts

Have you listened to our latest Mendelssohn album release yet? 😌 The string quartets op. 12 & 13! Available on all major streaming platforms. Here's a nice memory from the Chelsea Music Festival's 16th season in 2025 at St Paul's German Church, NYC.

A joyous week to be part of with Yo-Yo curating the “We the People Festival” at Tanglewood. It’s been an absolute honor from leading the 1812 Overture with BSO and TMC combined forces to a memorable night of story telling with James Taylor, Jon Batiste, Julia Wolfe, Aoife O’Donovan, Teddy Abrams, Heather Cox Richardson, Bryan Stevenson, Jennifer Kreisberg, Marcus Miller, and of course Yo-Yo and the Boston Symphony. Last Saturday was an evening of love for the values that have built and continue to rebuild this nation through music, community, and remembrance. 📸: Hilary Scott (#3-8)

Happy Birthday, America. 🇺🇸 Among the many generous recognitions and reviews America/Beautiful and its 5-CD album have received, there was one review (and one paragraph in particular) that really touched me. I felt that the reviewer truly saw and heard me, not only the music, but also the intention behind every act of curation and every programming decision. I played “Four Windows into America” for left hand only by the Jazz legend (and my friend!) Fred Hersch then followed it with “Getting the Upper Hand on America” for right hand only by the Pulitzer and Grammy winning McArthur Fellow, the luminary composer John Harbison. “Kwon left us with one more point of consideration. Intentional or not, the message landed clearly. It takes both sides working together to make music with ease. The same could be said for America, when it is at its most beautiful.” To all my 76 composers, every listener, presenter, supporter, and the future pianists who will one day discover these works, thank you for being part of this journey. 🙏♦️🎹❤️ Someone recently said to me, “Min, I’m not sure anybody is going to want to hear about your project or America/Beautiful after this July 4th.” I vehemently disagree. This project was never about a single birthday, anniversary, or celebration. It is about continuing a conversation through music, about beauty, democracy, hope, identity, and what it means to be America. I believe that my work is only beginning. America/Beautiful continues. 🇺🇸 Happy 15th Birthday my dear Lauren! 🎂❤️ Happy 250th America! 📸 Fadi Kheir
