Thank you to everyone who showed up for Captains Vote Day this year! This year was made possible by @donutsndemocracy who supplied us with the donuts so many of you loved! Through our team and their support we were about to get almost 60 pledges for the Reproductive Freedom Amendment, register students to vote, explain what was on the ballot this year and help students form plans to vote this November (or before 😉)!

Even if you didn’t come for the free donut, we appreciate you stopping by and saying hello! Please remember to have a good fall break 🍩

P.S. what’s everyone’s favorite donut 😛🍩 by @cnu_ppgen

At 6:00PM, Planned Parenthood: Generation Action will be hosted a talk with Alexis Gayle! This meeting is all about, “How to Talk About Abortion”.

This is a helpful session for those who support the cause but is unsure how or scared to say the wrong thing about abortion. by @cnu_ppgen

On September 12th, Planned Parenthood: Generation Action canvassed for the “Yes on 1” campaign being hosted by Virginians for Reproductive Freedom in Hilton community by CNU! Through our volunteers, over 100 doors were able to be knocked in the community!

As students it’s important to remember to use your voice for what you believe in! It’s important to stand up and be involved more than ever, never be scared to stand up for what’s right in your community whether here at CNU or wherever you call home. Research groups, canvass, talk with your neighbors and community!
