Year One. What a Season with the Men.

I'd first like to thank Coach Sean Smith and the other coaches for letting me come into this program and letting me help coach the Vernon Panthers. I am very proud to be a part of this team, and I couldn't be happier after my successful first season with the team. We brought it all the way to The Dome, B.C. Place.

Secondly the Players, the Guys, the Men! You all welcomed me into the team and trusted me to guide you to greatness, and for that, I am forever grateful, Thank You.

"I'M IN" and I cannot wait for next year. Time for some off-season prep work. 📝🏈 by @coach.connor

Panthers 1-on-1 Summer Showdown Series!

Got the big boys out today!

@jessekumar09 Takes up Offensive Guard
@trevormceachniejr is playing Interior Nose Defensive Line

Jesse Kumar wanted to showcase @angus_reid64 teachings and that he did! Trevor stepped up to give some solid competition from the 1 Tech Nose Tackle.

Jesse had solid hand placement and moved with the blitz and washed it out!

1-0 Round Winner: Jesse Kumar

With the best of 3 on the line Trevor came out with some Power and Extension. But once he moved from Power to Speed Jesse got the Wash out again!

2-0 Round Winner: Jesse Kumar

We got DBs back on deck Tonight! Can't wait!

(Yeah we realized after Jesse was lined up at center but good 1 on 1s regardless!)

Panthers 1-on-1 Summer Showdown Series!

Best of 3, one DB, one WR

@owen_west305_ on Defense and @nash_steele4 on Offense

Owen picked Defense right away, ready to lock down anyone. Nash quickly took up the opportunity to showcase his WR Skill Set, and the showdown was on.

Play 1: Nash broke away on the break with an excellent rocker step on his Corner route but left much to be desired with a dropped pass to the fingertips

1-0 Round Winner: Owen West

Play 2: Again, Nash's rocker step allowed him to break free on a Dig route, and with a smooth pass and clean hands, it was an easy pull in for the Kid.

1-1 Round Winner: Nash Steele

Play 3: With the majority of other players picking Nash to win the final round, the pressure was on, exactly where Owen excels. Nash made it difficult with another clean break on an Out route, but Owens' speed and technique was too much for Nash to handle this time. Clean pass break up.

2-1 Showdown Winner: Owen West

Huge shoutout to Panther Alumni @joshtonge17 for coming and helping with our Corners and slinging the pig skin.

At the end of each summer practice, I will be picking one player to be going up against the defending champ and posting it here, Sundays Post can't come soon enough 🏈

I can scream it from the mountain tops, and I will @josh._jt6 is an ABSOLUTE GAME WRECKER at Corner!

Josh Tonge is a Red Zone menace and knows how to make his presence felt, shuts down recievers, and gets in tough with quick reads against the run.

Coaches, this is all from 1 Game, our Conference Championship!

Loving Life! This is what it's all about!

Faith, Family, Football! ✝️👪🏈

As we reach the midpoint of the Community @vdmfabc Football Season, I’m proud to share that the Vernon Blue Magnums stand at 4-1 and have secured a playoff spot after today’s victory! These young men have poured their hearts into this season and truly deserve every achievement.

A special thank you to Coach @brett_nicolefitzpatrick for welcoming me on this journey and trusting me with the role of Head Coach. His unwavering support, along with that of his entire family, has been instrumental in the development of my coaching career. Coach Brett’s belief in my potential inspires me every day as I pursue my passion for coaching football as a career.

Here’s to an exciting second half of the season! by @coach.connor
