There is something about knowing who you are that changes how you show up in life.
My Pastor PV would always say, “Identity before conduct.”
And the more I think about it, the more I realise just how profound those three words are.
Before you decide how to live, remember who you are. Before you make that decision, remember who you are.

Let me tell you a little story ------------->

My baby sister is one of the most talented people I know and I have always believed in the gift of God upon her life.
When she released her first single in 2023, i thought it was Eccentric, but then came the second, OMOBA, even while it was still in the works, during the drafts, the recording, and all the little stages that brought the song to life, something in me leapt.

I remember thinking, THIS! This song right here!
Of all the songs she could have released next, this one felt particularly special. There was something about the lyrics, the melody, the beats, the smoothness of the sound, and, of course, that voice!
Everything just came together beautifully.

It reminds me of something we all need to be reminded of from time to time: there is a greatness you must never lose sight of simply because life has become loud.
Sometimes, all it takes is a reminder of who you are to change how you see what is before you.
And that is why I believe this song is bigger than a beautiful sound. It carries a message.
It calls you back to your identity.

It stirs something within you. It reminds you that you are royalty, that you carry a heritage, and that there is something about knowing whose you are that should influence how you walk, how you speak, how you think, and how you live.

You see, when you know you are a child of the King of Kings, you begin to approach life differently.
Not with arrogance, but with confidence. Not with entitlement, but with an awareness of the grace, wisdom, and responsibility that come with your identity.

#Identity before conduct.

And perhaps this is a beautiful way to begin a new week: not by asking yourself only what you need to do, what you need to achieve, or how much you need to get done, but by first remembering who by @coach.yomi

Half the year gone, All of Him remains.

The first half of this year is behind us.
Look back and see it: God was faithful.
In the open doors you didn’t plan. In the closed doors that protected you. In the strength you didn’t know you had. In the grace that carried you when your own ran out.

He has given us so much.
Purpose - before time began 2 Timothy 1:9.
Love - that gave His Son John 3:16.
Life - in Him we live, move, and have our being Acts 17:28.
Righteousness that is not earned, but given 2 Corinthians 5:21.

That’s not half a supply. That’s a complete inheritance.

So let this provoke your thinking:
If God has already given us _so much_, what makes us think there is anything He cannot do?

The only ceiling we hit is the one we set in our own minds.
God has not held back. Grace has not run dry. His purpose has not expired. 2 Timothy 2:1

You are not limited by what you lack. You are limited only by what you believe He has given.

Let's Confess together
“I acknowledge God’s faithfulness over the first 6 months. He has been with me, for me, and ahead of me. He has given me so much in Christ. Therefore I will not limit myself. There is nothing I cannot achieve in Him. The only limit I refuse is unbelief. God is faithful.
I am His offspring Acts 17:28.
I am strong in His grace 2 Timothy 2:1.
