When you take care of your body, your game takes care of itself ⛳️

Strength, mobility, and a little discipline off the course = more consistency, more confidence, and way more fun. Funny how that works.

Train like an athlete. Play like one. 💪

For those interested, this is a 4 minute kettlebell circuit that I’ve been doing 1-2x per week. Heart rate up to 160+, rest til down to 120, then go again. Three times. 8 reps with each movement.

Our biggest and best spring session ever at @firstteeseattle is loading, impacting more than 1,200 youth at 16 local golf facilities… and we couldn’t be more excited. 💫

I’m constantly inspired by all those who show up in our community with purpose - pouring time, energy, and heart into helping young people grow through the game. The future is in good hands. 🙌⛳️

Allow me to introduce Rob Jackson! 🎤

In the 1970s, “Robbie” hailed as the multi-year Canadian junior and amateur champion, and went head-to-head with emerging greats like Nick Faldo and Sandy Lyle on the international stage. 🏆

Rob now spends his winters in Palm Springs and summers in Woodinville. At 70, he carries his bag for every round, hoops, runs, and spends quality time with friends and family.

Most notably, he is pouring in energy and support for youth, through @firstteeseattle ⛳️ and @home_court 🏀. A true Game Changer in our community 🙌 by @coach_evan

Full-circle golf day @thevintageclub! 💫⛳️

Got to tee it up with one of my longtime friends, his mom Jan, and his son Sam, who plays at @firstteeseattle and is starting to fall in love with the game. 🙌

Adam and I were college roommates at @claremontmckennacollege and proud members of the Stag golf team, where we birdied occasionally, short-sided ourselves regularly, and always had a blast. 🫎

We also ran into Marcus Mariota, 2014 Heisman winner @oregonfootball and now QB for the @commanders. He’s doing great work in the community for kids @motiv8foundation and was really cool with Sam. 👊

Gotta love golf’s ability to bring us all together. 🎯 taken in The Vintage Club by @coach_evan

Throwback to my first day volunteering with @firstteeseattle, back in fall of 2009 on “Bill Wright Day” ⛳️

While my history at Jefferson Park goes back only 17 years, Bill started playing there more than 70 years ago. And since black golfers weren’t exactly welcomed in golf, even at municipal courses, it wasn’t easy. But he persevered, followed his love for the game, and became the first black @usga champion in 1959 (US Am Public Links).

Bill passed in 2021 and the course was renamed in his honor in 2024. A well-deserved recognition for a talented golfer, an inspirational man, and a fearless champion. 🙌

Who’s guilty of never practicing their putts at the range?

When we say “All the good, for the good,” we mean it. We want beginners to feel safe here… competitive players to feel challenged and we want everyone to respect the game that gives us so much.

Learning and laughing can absolutely coexist with discipline and tradition — that balance is the culture we’re intentionally building at Pacific Bogey Club.

Huge thank you to Coach @coach_evan for meeting our community exactly where we are — making the fundamentals approachable, the process fun, and the game feel a little less intimidating for everyone. taken in The Pacific Northwest by @coach_evan

There’s something special about building something with your own hands, especially when it’s for kids. 🛠️

Put in a hard day’s work in the “shop,”creating new hitting platforms for the juniors at Auburn GC. Sawdust everywhere, slivers and busted fingers, barely beat darkness… and completely worth it.

Can’t wait to see kids back at this spring ripping 7 irons off of these bad boys. ⛳️💚

‼️🔥🤝 What does it mean to be PBC Certified? It means you’re learning from someone who brings both skill and heart to the game. Someone who sees the details, meets you where you are, and makes improvement feel approachable instead of intimidating. This is exactly the kind of leadership we want shaping our community.

Welcome to the crew, Coach Evan. 🤝🌲⛳️

And you already know…
a rising tide lifts all boats.

Follow PBC events for more opportunities to learn, grow, and enjoy the game together. Keep your eyes peeled. Bring your friends. We’re all getting better from here. 🔥

Thanks to the @wwcpga’sPro-Junior tournament at @riverbendgolf Complex, Coaches Evan, Allen & Leslie had the opportunity to team up for one last round with our ACE graduates before they go off to college!

The 2 person best-ball format was perfect for teamwork, fun, and going low ⛳️

We are so proud of Brianna, Aiden, Jay, and all of our graduated seniors as they take on the next exciting phase of their life! 🚀 by @coach_evan

3 days, 3 M’s games, 3 golfs… that’s how the Johnsen 3 roll ⛳️⚾️

Since we live in different cities, my dad, bro and I choose a destination to get together every spring for some quality time on and off the course. We catch up, miss putts, and in this case, witness our beloved M’s take 2 of a 3 game series and retain the lead in the AL West!
