Marathon Golf Weekend ⛳️ 45 Holes in Two Days!

What a weekend! Started Saturday morning with a @u.s.kidsgolf Tacoma Tour 9-hole tournament @thehomecourse with @royplaysgolf, followed by a 9-hole practice round at the Classic Golf Club. Wrapped up the day @chambersbaygolf with an on-course training for preparation for Tacoma Tour Championship with Coach @monteinstruction. Thank you Matt for your valuable time to spend with Bryson!!

Back at it early Sunday morning with an 8 AM tournament tee time at the Classic Golf Club with @royplaysgolf, @jackclinegolf. Congratulations to Jack for his personal best round!! And then headed to Auburn Golf Course in the afternoon to play a PGA Junior League scramble with @alinaw_golfadventure and @firstteeseattle coach @coach_evan! What a great battle between these 2 young elite golfers and a great player! Coach Evan could play this match since 2 players missed the tournament on Sunday afternoon. He is a genuinely great person with very talented skills. Also, Alina and Bryson are substituting players for Team Chambers Bay!

45 holes of golf, two tournaments, practice, coaching, and team golf — a long and exhausting weekend, but full of fun, learning, and unforgettable memories. Grateful for every opportunity to grow through this game! 🙏🏌️‍♂️

Things I expected during our practice round:
✔️ A few good swings.
✔️ A few bad swings.

Things I did not expect:
❌ Evan sticking a golf ball in the simulator screen. 😂

See you tomorrow, Seattle Sports Commission Open where we go head to head. 😬⛳️

Some people have a favorite place.

Mine is wherever these people are.

The Boeing Classic has given me so much more than great golf. It’s given me friendships, laughter, purpose, opportunities to give back, and countless moments I’ll never forget. Looking back at these memories reminds me that it’s never really been about a location… it’s always been about the people who make it feel like home.

Grateful for every year, every hug, every laugh, and every memory. 💙⛳️

Some golf tournaments are about who wins.

This one was about why we play.

A beautiful course. Great teammates. New friendships. A whole lot of laughs. And kids whose futures are a little brighter because a community showed up.

Every once in a while I have to remind myself that this is…my job. 🤯

I get to build relationships, play a game I didn’t even know I’d love a few years ago, meet incredible people, and support organizations doing life-changing work all in the same day. That’s not something I ever want to take for granted.

Golf has given me so much more than a scorecard. Days like this are a good reminder that the best rounds usually have very little to do with the golf.

Thank you, Rise Up Academy, for letting me be a small part of something so meaningful.

Until the next one. ⛳🤍

I think I’ll stick with my normal shot routine from now on 😂

Clearly not all shots are winners. But, I had fun trying! And while I was at it, I helped raise money for @firstteeseattle, (a program that I am so passionate about) and was able to be apart of and support the @theproshop_hq biggest event of the year (also a program that I am honored to support because of all the good they spread)! Not a bad day I guess

Something truly magical happens when you say, “yes.” Yes to an opportunity, yes to a challenge, yes to an invitation and yes to becoming part of a community of leaders.

Huge thanks to @theproshop_hq for allowing me a chance to see the good being fostered at their 3rd annual Golf Tournament.

Seeing people from an industry that’s foreign to me allows me the unique chance to learn more about other people’s goals, lives and achievements.

I love celebrating others, almost as much as I love Death Cab for Cutie.

Yesterday was a celebration!

Thank you, friends. I can’t wait for next year already!

A week from today, we’ll be chasing the sun at Chambers Bay.

Over the last several months, I’ve logged six training rounds, countless miles, a lot of early alarms, and more than a few moments where life tried its best to pull my attention somewhere else.

But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that showing up matters.

This reel is a little glimpse into the people who’ve walked alongside me, trained with me, encouraged me, and reminded me why this challenge is so much bigger than golf. I’m incredibly grateful for every person who has shared a round, sent a text, offered advice, donated, or simply cheered us on from afar.

Next Sunday, our team @fitnesscaddie @kathytuan @marjorie.s.chang will attempt 81 holes at @chambersbaygolf more than any women’s team has completed before. Not because we need another golf challenge, but because we believe in what happens when young people are given opportunities, mentors, and a place to belong.

That’s why we’re doing this. For @firstteeseattle For the kids. For the moments that can change a life.

Chambers Bay has given me so many unforgettable memories, incredible friendships, and opportunities I never could have imagined. Being able to spend one of the longest days of the year on one of my favorite places on earth while raising money for a mission I believe in feels a little bit like all of my favorite things colliding at once.

If you’ve already donated, thank you. Truly.

If you’ve been meaning to and life has been a little loud (trust me, I get it), there’s still time. No gift is too small. Every dollar helps create opportunities for the next generation.

One week to go.

We’re tired.
We’re excited.
We’re probably questioning our life choices just a little.

But we’re still showing up. 🤍💪

Our 5th 100 Hole marathon with Molly!!! What a lovely ☀️ day we had for golf ⛳️ always a treat to spend the day with good friends and raise some money for a good cause! This one was very memorable making a ‘1’ on my 57th hole! Only my second hole in one in my career… so fun 🤩 I hit an AW from 85 yards up hill!

Thanks to everyone who donated to Peyton’s Scholarship Fund! We will announce the winner of the Stanley Cup soon! There is still time to donate! We will be taking donations until May 20th!

Playing golf for the first time in a really long time at the place that means more to me than any course in the world, with some of the people who mean more to me than almost anyone in the world.

No big deal. Totally casual. Definitely didn’t feel emotional about it. Definitely didn’t almost cry into my golf glove.

@chambersbaygolf has always been special, but being back here after a season of being a little quiet, a little behind, a little beat up, and very much trying to find my way back to myself felt like a blessing I don’t take lightly.

And somehow, we are less than two months away from @cbsolstice which means it is almost time for our annual attempt to make terrible life choices for a very good cause. Walking, grinding, laughing, probably limping, and raising money so more kids can access golf, mentorship, transportation, and the kind of life skills this game has given so many of us.

My fundraising page exists. Is it beautifully polished yet? Absolutely not. Am I behind? Deeply. Are we still raising money and making magic happen? Always.

If you feel called to support, donate, share, or send snacks and emotional support, it would mean the world.

Grateful to be back. Grateful for this place. Grateful for these people. Grateful for the game that keeps finding me, even when I need a minute to find myself again.
