What a balancing act it is to try to be effective in the aspects of your life that are important to you...
.
And while there are a million things we all could be doing to be better versions of ourselves, I believe a lot of it comes down to making sure we are moving our bodies and eating whole foods more often. I think it really is the catalyst for all these other things.
.
I've always taken a lot of pride in the fact that my parents have been able to play sports with my brothers and me (and our friends) well into their 60s. A lot of good memories stem from hitting with my pops on the tennis court. Or my mom digging one of my boy's hits on a volleyball court. My dad draining a 3-pointer in my eye or my mom peppering with me at the park, are all moments I'll always cherish.
.
As an adult, father, and boyfriend... I understand now how hard it is to maintain a life that allows me to provide, love, and keep up with my family. It seemed like my parents did it so easily, but now that I'm in it, I definitely understand it's a constant grind.
.
I want to be the parent my kids can still hit up if they need one more on the court for a game with their friends. Suit up to go help them practice whatever sport they are playing. The list goes on.
.
So here's to 2026. Another year to commit to myself and my family that ill take the harder route more often. by @coach_savella

It won't hit me till next week. But when it does I'm sure it'll hit me pretty hard.
.
The place I've called home for the last 10 years, where my family has grown up and where I've found myself time and time again will unfortunately be closing at the end of May.
.
Two things can be true at the same time. So while I'm upset, sad, scared, and nervous about the future. I am also excited, grateful, and hopeful for the next chapter in my career.
.
After 10 years of coaching and training at @tribeathleticsofficial (formerly known as Crossfit Tribe functional fitness or Crossfit Tribe haha), I will be taking my personal training business to @blkbox_train / @blkbox_performance and continuing to pursue my passion there.
.
I'm very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the team and can't wait to see what the future holds.
.
Cheers to fresh starts and new beginnings. Cheers to the members turned friends and the friends that turned into family. I'll miss you guys and hope you continue training even if it's not where I'll be.

To all you busy parents out there.

They want time with YOU. They want to learn from YOU.
.
It's one of the biggest reasons I focus on my health and fitness. I want to be able to run, jump, and play with my kids.

I dont want to be the parent on the sideline.
.
And you don't have to be either if you don't want to.
.
Maybe I can help? Maybe I can't. But if you're struggling to find a balance, you're not the only one.
.
It's like they say, "You can't pour from an empty cup." So start pouring back into yours.

Not every day is going to be us at our best. We fail, we make mistakes, and we do things out of character.

But we always come back to our foundation. No matter how hard it seems, we always lean on one another.. Nothing is beyond our ability to overcome. Even when it's our own stubbornness and pride.

365 days ❤️

A year ago we were casual acquaintances sending each other Britney Spears memes.
Then we caught each other up on our lives.
And when we both had plans fall through we decided “why not?” and met up for sushi…. And that was that.
