โ€œDeath From Aboveโ€ UTL Rookie Bracket: Austin, TX Salamanders (Green Caps) v Los Alamitos, CA Tridents (Blue) Early passing from the Texans set this goal up. #9 Ross @backhalfstrong sent a laser guided torpedo pass to his teammate, with some blocking help from a fellow Salamander. The Tridents did not intend on letting them score easy however. #7 Warren @dub_collects_dubs and a fellow teammate unleashed a volley of aggression to defend the goal, working as a team to sabotoge the goal efforts. Ultimately, the lone Salamander kept his composure, fought off the double team, and got the job done. In UTL composure can beat sheer aggression, the bigger aggressive style of play has its place (within the rules) but the small profile of the torpedo and nets mean that maneuverability in the water can favor smaller players who are willing to squirm and scrap their way to victory. UTL Players and Teams, @deependfitness_atx is hosting the UTL Nationals 2026. When: November 7th-8th Where: Eanes Aquatic Center (Austin, TX) Free For Spectators DM @deependfitness_atx for any questions. Torpedo Toss Up Is Here! @torpedotossup When: October 10th and 11th Where: Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center (Fort Lauderdale, FL) DM @deependsoflo with any questions.
