My 1st watermelon harvest!!!! 🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉Loking at all the signs of a done watermelon I figured I could wait maybe another week to not water it so it could get sweet but because the weather this week and past week has been wet, I couldn’t risk my watermelon to split, soOo I pulled it! Who else gets nervous harvesting fruits of their labor? #gardening #garden#watermelon#gardenlife #harvest by @coach_tashabb

Last jalepeno harvest for this season and off to make my favorite sourdough bread, Jalepeno Cheddar! So savory and a bit spicy. I should have let the bread cool for an hour before opening but once you smell it, you want to eat it soooo yay! It’s delicious when made into sandwhiches #garden#sourdough#bake by @coach_tashabb

Before the buildout, there was the VISION and the work behind it! 🔥

Sports and fitness have been my life since childhood. Basketball, swimming, soccer, softball, and Muay Thai since I was 7!

Basketball was my dream until I tore my ACL. TWICE. 😩

During rehab in 2007, I trained at Velocity, where I discovered functional fitness. I remember thinking, “One day, I want to work somewhere like this.”

Little did I know! 🥹

I eventually returned to Muay Thai and fell in LOVE with teaching kids. Some of those kids are grown now, and I’m still training them or their siblings! That’s COMMUNITY. 🧡

Years later, I taught at UFC Gym, where I met my HUSBAND! 🥰 He introduced me to a whole new world of strength, mobility, and corrective exercise.

Together, we built an amazing fitness community until COVID changed everything.

But we didn’t stop building!

We started training clients out of HALF OUR GARAGE! 😂 With generous friends donating equipment and my MOMMA helping renovate our garage, our little dream kept growing. 🥹🧡

Having our own gym was ALWAYS the dream. We just didn’t know when or how.

I continued teaching, discovered another passion in group fitness, and built even more incredible relationships along the way.

And now, HERE WE ARE!

BE-NU FITNESS! 🔥🧡

Every injury, every class, every coach, and every person we’ve trained has brought us here.

That little girl who walked into Velocity in 2007 dreaming of working in a facility like that is now building one with her husband.

To me, THAT’S THE AMERICAN DREAM. 🥹🇺🇸

We’re not just building a gym. We’re building a COMMUNITY.

Being made new by the attitude of your mind.

And we’re JUST GETTING STARTED! 🔥🧡 by @coach_tashabb

Still a work in progress,

but we are getting closer every single day!

Today was all about the details—hanging flags and banners, sanding the bag rack and getting that second coat of paint on, and doing endless touch-ups. 🔨🎨

A massive shoutout to everyone who showed up to lend a hand.

But the biggest thank you goes to my 18-year-old son, @kreamthesecond

I made him the site foreman, and he has been working his absolute butt off leading the charge and doing everything that needs to be done. So proud of him and grateful for this crew.

The grind continues, but we’re building something special! 🚀💪

🔥 BUILDING BE-NU FROM THE GROUND UP 🔥

A little behind the scenes of what it really looks like bringing this vision to life. 💪🏽

Sanding. Priming. Painting. Building. Sweating. 😅 And doing as much of it ourselves as we can.

This bag rack started as an idea, and now we’re watching it become the centerpiece of our gym. 🥊🔥

Every coat of paint, every bolt, every late night is one step closer to opening those doors.

We’re not just building a gym.
We’re building OUR gym.
We’re building BE-NU. 🐦‍🔥

Be Disciplined. Be Determined. Be Triumphant.

The transformation is coming… 👀🔥

It starts with “a decision” backed up by “action”.

If you are blessed and fortunate enough to still have your parents in your life. Never stop encouraging, supporting, and finding ways for them to stay active and healthy!

Shout out to @coach_tashabb & @benufitness757 for the impact they’ve had my momma! 🫶🏽❣️🥹
