Indian Country is officially Panther Country. 🐾🪶

Honored to share the Pitt-Bradford Panthers with so many incredible Indigenous student-athletes, leaders, and advocates at the Native Student Athlete Summit. The support for our program continues to grow, and it’s a reminder that representation matters.

From our campus to Native communities across Turtle Island, thank you for believing in our vision and helping us build something bigger than the game.

Excited to represent @upb_wlax and the Seneca Nation of Indians, and the incredible women who make up this team. I’m grateful for the opportunity to stand in these spaces and continue to grow, while carrying all of you with me.

To my players, thank you for pushing me every day to be better, to do better, and to lead with purpose. This journey means more because of the people I get to share it with, and with the support of my family behind me every step of the way by @coachbowen6

Reflecting on the 2026 season my first year as a head coach in women’s lacrosse I’m proud of how quickly I had to grow, learn the game, and become the best coach I could be for 21 incredible young women. This group showed up every day, put in the work, and set the standard. They built the foundation for what this program will become.

As a first-year program, going 10–7, earning a share of the regular season championship, and making it to the conference championship is something special. But more than the record, it’s the culture, toughness, and belief this team created that stands out.

I still think about how I got here a kid from the reservation now having the opportunity to help led both inaugural men’s and women’s lacrosse programs. That’s something I don’t take lightly. Being one of a small number of Indigenous NCAA coaches is a blessing. And something I’ve learned along the way is this: I’m not alone but I am the first in many spaces I step into.

This season was full of firsts. And now, heading into Year 2, the goal is clear keep building, keep growing, and go after our first conference championship. 💙💛🥍 @upb_wlax by @coachbowen6
