👋🏻HI, I’M CATHRENE 👋🏻 Whether you’re completely new to strength training, want to feel stronger and more capable, or just need someone to take the guesswork out of what you’re doing… that’s where I come in 🙌🏻 I’m a Level 2 & 3 qualified Personal Trainer, with additional Pre & Postnatal qualifications, and my coaching is all about building strength, building confidence and helping you find your feet in the world of fitness. Often stepping into a gym is the hardest part! Here’s how you can work with me 👇🏻 💪🏻 1:1 & 2:1 PERSONAL TRAINING Train with me in a small, private gym — no intimidating busy gym floor, no wandering around wondering what to do. Come solo or bring a friend and train together. 🚀 CLASSES You’ll also find me coaching at LG Well-Being: • HYBRID • Strength for Runners • Small Group PT 📲 ONLINE COACHING Think personalised coaching and support, without the price tag of seeing a PT several times a week. Your training is completely tailored to you, your goals, your experience and your life — because your programme should fit around your life, not take it over. 💓 POSTNATAL STRENGTH My postnatal strength classes give new mums a space to rebuild strength and confidence after having a baby — and yes, babies are absolutely welcome! 🥹🫶🏻 You don’t need to already be fit. You definitely don’t need to wait until you feel “ready”. That’s what I’m here to help with. If you want to get stronger, feel more confident and have someone in your corner helping you get there, drop me a DM and tell me what you’d like to work towards 💌 P.S my coaching is definitely better than my Canva skills 🙈🤣 by @coachedby_cathrene

OFF-SEASON IS OFFICIALLY HERE 🤩🍂 After my final ultra of the year, it was a few weeks of easy miles and ticking over with strength training before the Great Cumbrian Run, where I finished just 2 minutes off last year’s PB! Now, with my final race of 2026 done, it’s time to BUILD 💪🏼 As much as I love racing and challenging myself, you can’t do it all year round. Constantly tapering, racing and recovering doesn’t leave much room for consistent, uninterrupted training. So this next block is all about working on weaknesses, strengthening those niggles, building power and improving my running economy. Plenty of easy miles, consistent strength work, long runs in the fells when the weather allows and absolutely NO race pressure! Just enjoying training, building solid foundations and getting stronger before the next chapter begins in January 🫶🏻 Progress isn’t always about chasing finish lines! ✨ by @coachedby_cathrene
CLIENT SPOTLIGHT 🌟 Kate & Alice! 💪🏼 Two absolute powerhouses who continue to prove that you’re capable of SO much more than you think! 🫶🏻 This weekend, these two hybrid girlies took on HYBRID Games SOLO! Alice making her solo debut and Kate tackling the brand-new 10-station format! And they absolutely SMASHED IT! 🔥 Incredible times and even a couple of 2nd places in their age categories on the erg stations!🥈 But as proud as I am of their results, it’s everything BEHIND those results that deserves celebrating. HYROX Malaga, HYBRID Games Doubles, Wild HYBRID, the Championships… and that’s just a handful of their achievements this year! What you don’t see is the early mornings, late evenings, runs in the dark and countless hours spent training hard. All whilst juggling full-time jobs and raising teenage children as single mums! And THAT is what inspires me most. ❤️ Because it’s not about the medals, podiums or finishing times. It’s about showing up, challenging yourself and discovering what you’re truly capable of. These events are simply a celebration of all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes. You don’t have to be the fastest or the strongest. Sometimes just having the courage to stand on that start line is the biggest achievement of all. The real win isn’t where you finish, it’s who you become along the way. 🥹❤️ SO proud to coach these two incredible women. Keep doing what you love 🚀🫶🏻🔥 by @coachedby_cathrene

HYBRID Strength popping off 🚀 Wednesday mornings are a firm favourite for the LG gang 🤪 This morning we had 3 x 12 min AMRAPs with a spicy max effort at the end, it got hot, it got hard but the effort was unreal 🤩🔥 by @coachedby_cathrene
The 2026 race reason is done ✅🙌🏻🏃🏻‍♀️ Finishing off with a firm favourite @sportinaction2016 Great Cumbrian Run HM 🚀 I set my all time PB on this course last year and got free entry from my AG placing so this race was always going to be special 🤩 I’ve not been able to do much specific speed work for this due to all of my many ultra marathon adventures so I had absolutely no idea what I could achieve today 🤷🏽‍♀️ The goal was to enjoy it, push if I felt like it, take it all in and just appreciate that I am able to do this and my body lets me do this 💪🏻🏃🏻‍♀️ Still lifting heavy, still running for hours in the fells and still able to put a good shift in (watch out for next year when I’ve spent time working with @daisymb_dahm to improve my running economy 😅) 3rd fastest HM, 1:37, not a PB but not far off 👀 13th female #beattheboys and 5th AG 🥳🙌🏻 Now it’s time for an off season before we lock in for some big goals next year 🫣🤩 Huge well done to everyone who ran today you’re all legends and should be so proud 🫶🏻 by @coachedby_cathrene
