๐ŸŽ‰ Celebrating a New Accredited CAC Partner: Golden Generation Organisation (Kenya) We are proud to celebrate Golden Generation Organisation (GG) as the latest organisation to complete the CAC Partnership Journey and achieve Accredited Partner status. While many organisations spend several years progressing from Startup Partner to Accredited Partner, GG has reached this milestone in just over a year. Their success is a testament to their commitment, consistency, and willingness to embrace learning opportunities. From the beginning, Founder Coach Ken fully immersed himself in CAC's global learning network. Working closely with Global Purposeful Play Coach Titus, he integrated Purposeful Play methodology throughout GG's programmes while continually seeking ways to strengthen the organisation's impact. Behind the scenes, regular mentoring conversations focused on strengthening organisational systems, processes, frameworks, partnerships, and long-term sustainability. Through this journey, GG has developed a more systematic approach to its work, successfully secured local funding opportunities, and established valuable local partnerships that will support future growth. What stands out most about GG's journey is its openness to learning and its determination to turn ideas into action. We look forward to celebrating this achievement alongside Coach Ken and hearing his reflections on the accreditation journey, the changes it has inspired within the organisation, and what comes next for Golden Generation. Congratulations to the entire GG team on becoming an Accredited CAC Partner. #StartupToSustainable #PurposefulPlayForDevelopment by @coachesacrosscontinents
๐ŸŒ Learning Together, Growing Together: Strengthening Nepal's Purposeful Play Network Coach education doesn't end when the onfield training comes to a close. It continues through shared experiences, reflection, and opportunities to learn from one another. Following the April and September On-field Purposeful Play Coach Education Programmes in Nepal, Local Purposeful Play Coaches (LPPCs) came together for an online learning and reflection session on 2 November 2026. As a CAC Global Purposeful Play Centre, Childreach Nepal plays an important role in connecting and supporting a local network of organisations and coaches across Nepal. It creates opportunities for coaches to continue learning, share experiences, support one another, and strengthen the use of Purposeful Play within their communities. During the call, coaches shared how they have been using Purposeful Play in their sessions, the changes they have noticed, the challenges they have faced, and how they have adapted their learning to their local contexts. We also revisited the CAC Coaching Pathway and discussed opportunities for further coach support and development. Through the long-standing collaboration between Coaches Across Continents (CAC) and Childreach Nepal, opportunities for coach education, shared learning, and local leadership have continued to grow. As a Global Purposeful Play Centre, Childreach Nepal is helping carry this work forward by connecting local organisations and coaches and creating more opportunities for the Purposeful Play network in Nepal to grow. We look forward to continuing this journey together and seeing what more local coaches and organisations will make possible. ๐Ÿ’™ Connecting local organisations. Supporting local coaches. A partnership with CAC is more than a training course. We work with clubs, schools, academies, NGOs, CBOs, and federations to help them use Purposeful Play as a powerful tool for social impact. Partners receive access to purposeful play curricula, coaching resources, online and in-person education, safeguarding support, monitoring and evaluation tools, social media guidance, organisational capacity-building, and a global network of organisations creating change by using Purposeful Play. We provide year-round mentorship, practical support, and a long-term partnership that helps organisations maximise their impact on young people. #PurposefulPlayForDevelopment #PurposefulPlayCulture #LocalSolutionsForGlobalGoals #StartupToSustainable by @coachesacrosscontinents
Everyone deserves the opportunity to develop their potential, contribute to their community and pursue meaningful employment. That is why Coaches Across Continents is excited to partner with Balaka Disability Inclusion and Empowerment Initiative (BDIEI), a disability-led organisation in Malawi committed to creating more equitable opportunities for persons with disabilities. By tackling stigma, building confidence and supporting employability, BDIEI is helping individuals realise their strengths and unlock new possibilities for the future. During the initial phase of our partnership, CAC will support organisational development and capacity strengthening, with plans to explore how Purposeful Play can enhance future programmes and outcomes. We look forward to the journey ahead and to supporting disability-led leadership and inclusion. #PurposefulPlayForDevelopment #LocalSolutionsForGlobalGoals #StartupToSustainable E and E Health and Behaviour Change Communication Consultancy by @coachesacrosscontinents
๐Ÿ’™ Six Days. Six Schools. Learning Through Purposeful Play. What can a game teach us about safeguarding? How can play open up conversations about menstruation, career choices and teamwork? Over six days, alongside Himmotthan Society motthan Society, a Tata Trusts initiative, we worked with schools across villages in Uttarakhand, reaching thousands of children, teachers, and school staff through Purposeful Play. In communities where access to resources and learning opportunities can be challenging, creating space for these conversations matters. Through games, reflection, and discussion, children explored topics that connect directly to their lives. Safeguarding created space to talk about safety and protection. Menstruation opened conversations around health and understanding our bodies. Career activities encouraged children to think about their interests and future possibilities. Teamwork helped them explore how to listen, communicate, and work together. We are grateful to Himmotthan Society and the local teachers and educators who made these learning experiences possible. Because Purposeful Play is not just about playing. It's about making space for important conversations, building life skills, and helping children explore possibilities for themselves. ๐Ÿ’™ Local communities. Meaningful learning. Purposeful Play. #PurposefulPlayForDevelopment #Himmotthan by @coachesacrosscontinents
๐Ÿ’™ Purposeful Play for Mental Health | YRDP Kenya. At Youth Relief and Development Program (YRDP), Purposeful Play creates opportunities for young people to express their feelings, support one another, and strengthen relationships within their community. Through their work in Kenya, YRDP is creating shared spaces where young people can connect, feel included, build confidence, and experience the positive impact of supportive relationships on their mental wellbeing. This connects with CACโ€™s Mental Health Campaign, which uses Purposeful Play to normalise conversations around emotions and wellbeing, strengthen connections, and help young people develop the skills to support themselves and others. Thank you to YRDP for sharing how Purposeful Play is creating opportunities for young people to learn, connect, and belong. #PurposefulPlayForDevelopment #StartuptoSustainable #YRDP #CoachesAcrossContinents by @coachesacrosscontinents

We are excited to announce a new partnership with Kasese Junior Soccer Academy (KJSA) in Uganda. KJSA is committed to reducing school dropout caused by flooding, displacement, discrimination, and teenage pregnancy by empowering children and young people, including Congolese refugees, through football, education, and vocational skill development. Our partnership has already begun in action. In August, four KJSA coaches participated in CAC's face-to-face Purposeful Play Coach Education Programme in Kasese. Since completing the training, these coaches have been integrating Purposeful Play activities into their daily sessions, creating engaging learning opportunities that help young people develop both on and off the pitch. This commitment to coach education and positive youth development reflects the values at the heart of the CAC network. We look forward to supporting KJSA as they continue to use football as a tool for education, inclusion, and lasting social impact throughout their community. Welcome to the CAC family, Kasese Junior Soccer Academy. We are excited for the journey ahead! #PurposefulPlayForDevelopment #LocalSolutionsForGlobalGoals #StartupToSustainable by @coachesacrosscontinents
A good grant proposal starts long before the writing begins. Is your organisation grant ready? During our October Global Resource Call, two experienced partners from the Coaches Across Continents network, Estahappy from The Girls Foundation of Tanzania and Nischal from More Than Play, shared their grant-writing experiences with our global network. Together, we explored what it means to be grant ready, the key components of a grant proposal, and the importance of preparing well before applying for funding. Because grant writing is not just about completing an application. It starts with understanding your organisationโ€™s needs, preparing the right information, building relationships, and communicating clearly how funding can support your work. Learning from others who have been through the process gives organisations an opportunity to exchange ideas, ask questions, and learn from real experiences. ๐Ÿ’™ Thank you to Estahappy and Nischal for sharing their experiences, and to everyone who joined the conversation and contributed to our shared learning. About CAC Global Resource Calls CAC Global Resource Calls create shared learning spaces where partner organisations and coaches connect to exchange knowledge, experiences, and solutions. Through regular global learning sessions, resource sharing, thematic discussions, and collaboration, we support collective learning across our global network. #GlobalResourceCall #StartupToSustainable #CoachesAcrossContinents by @coachesacrosscontinents
Remembering Bill Gates: Three Years On Today marks three years since the passing of Bill Gates, a former Middlesbrough footballer whose experience with CTE football dementia has become a powerful catalyst for change in the game we all love. Before his death, Bill shared a simple but profound wish: "It's too late for me, but please do everything you can to ensure that today's players and future players are protected." At Coaches Across Continents, we believe that play can be used as a force for good. It should develop healthier, safer, and more resilient communities, while protecting the wellbeing of every young person. Bill's story is a poignant reminder that safeguarding in sport extends beyond protecting children from harm. It also means creating environments that prioritise physical, mental, and long-term brain health. Coaches have a responsibility to ensure that participation today does not compromise a player's future tomorrow. Today we remember Bill, celebrate his legacy, and reaffirm our shared commitment to making sport safer for all. Learning Through Purposeful Play: CAC Online Coach Education Programme Purposeful Play is creating opportunities for children to learn, reflect, build relationships, and find solutions through play. Our second Online Coach Education Programme this year brought together 28 coaches from 15 organizations across 12 countries to explore CACโ€™s Purposeful Play methodology. During the programme, coaches shared how they plan to bring this learning into their own sessions. Aya reflected on how she wants to use Purposeful Play to help children develop teamwork, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills. She also spoke about asking questions after games to help children connect what they experienced during play with their everyday lives. Tonia shared how coaches can adapt games to the different experiences and needs of the children, using play to encourage teamwork and learning. Other coaches highlighted the importance of having opportunities to exchange experiences with coaches from other communities. These reflections remind us that the value of coach education lies not only in what happens during training, but in how coaches take the learning back, adapt it to their local contexts, and create meaningful experiences for children and young people. About CAC Coach Education CAC Coach Education creates practical learning spaces where coaches learn, reflect, and adapt CACโ€™s Purposeful Play for Development methodology to their local contexts. Through on-field and online training, facilitation sessions, needs-based curriculums, and ongoing mentoring, we support coaches to use purposeful play to create meaningful learning experiences for children and young people. #PurposefulPlayForDevelopment #LocalSolutionsForGlobalGoals #CoachesAcrossContinents by @coachesacrosscontinents
Using Purposeful Play to Support Mental Health During Exam Season Exams can be a stressful time for children, but play has the power to reduce stress, build confidence, and strengthen connections.
