Women in sports 🫡 by @coachkeet_creative

When I came to college, all I wanted was to enjoy running again and to be happy. I’ve gained both of those, and so much more. I found a place and a team where I can truly be myself, with teammates who uplift one another and genuinely want each other to succeed.

I’ve grown from a young, insecure person who tied my identity to being a runner into someone who loves having balance and simply hanging out and running with my best friends. It took so much to get to this point, and I am forever proud of who I’ve become and proud that 17 year old me took the risk to come to America, and luckily, to NAU.

Thank you, cross country, for the highs and the lows. You’ve taught me so much about life and about myself. This summer and this season were hard. I struggled to be where I wanted to be, but I’m proud of how I handled it in the end. Despite the results of this season, it was one of my most fun seasons yet, thanks to my team.

Both the men’s and women’s teams placing 8th at Nationals was beautiful. Three women were All-American, Keira was right there, Emma raced her first NCAA’s and I got to race every step with Kiki ,who helped me throughout the entire race. Anna and Payton were the best reserves ever and helped us have so much fun. All the girls at home were thought of every moment too. I’m so proud of my team and so proud to be a Lumberjack 💙💛

A true sense of belonging. It’s a privilege to be a part of a team that feels like family.

My heart is so full. 2ND IN THE NCAA. What the NAU Women’s team has achieved this season is a reflection of the culture we have worked hard to build. I’ve seen this group grow to hold endless love and accountability for each other. Forever proud and forever grateful for the opportunity to spend everyday with these people. Back to Flagstaff to continue our journey. by @coachkeet_creative

I am excited to announce that I will be furthering my academic and athletic career at Northern Arizona University! I am privileged to be given this opportunity and I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me throughout the years. I’m super excited to be apart of this family and to soon call Flagstaff home 💛💙 Time to get ready to run at 7000ft! #golumberjacks by @coachkeet_creative
