What an offseason!

When we started Development Over Hype, we had 5 athletes show up to our first workout. Today, we wrapped up the summer with close to 30 athletes on the field.

We can’t thank every player and family enough for showing up, trusting us, and supporting DOH throughout this offseason. Watching this group continue to grow week after week has meant more to us than you know.

Now it’s time to go put all that work to use. Wishing every one of our athletes the best of luck this season. We can’t wait to watch you guys compete, make plays, and show everyone the work you’ve put in.

The offseason is over. Time to go ball.

Quarterback play is built on repetition.

Every throw is an opportunity to improve your mechanics, timing, and decision-making.

We’re not waiting for perfect conditions because they don’t exist on game day. If we have to play in it, we’re going to train in it.

Every session is about refining the details, building confidence, and developing habits that show up on Friday nights.

Development isn’t built in highlights. It’s built in reps.

Just a few clips from today’s QB session. Every throw has a purpose, every rep is an opportunity to improve. Stack enough good reps together and the results will take care of themselves.

QB Jah’Ziah Turner | Class of 2029

Yesterday, JT competed in the Rutgers 7-on-7 Tournament and put together a solid performance. But development doesn’t stop when the tournament ends.

Today, we got right back to work, focusing on cleaning up his mechanics and improving consistency in his throwing motion. Our main emphasis was eliminating overstriding and creating a more efficient, balanced release.

The best athletes don’t just compete, they evaluate, adjust, and improve.

Developing the present. Building the future. Great day with the QBs today, learning, teaching, and growing alongside others who love the game. 🏈 #DevelopmentOverHype

Breaking down Holy Cross QB Madden Martinez from the Rising Stars Bowl.

Showed a lot of promising traits including deep ball placement, playmaking ability, and toughness under pressure. Also some great coaching points that can help elevate his game even more.

Shoutout to the @risingstarsbowl and @sagemediasolutions for showcasing NY talent.

DM me film for breakdowns 👀
