Please welcome Kenneth J. Weaver Jr. as our new Boys Head Basketball Coach!

Kenneth J. Weaver Jr. is a passionate educator, mentor, and basketball coach with over a decade of experience at the high school and college levels. Most recently serving as an assistant coach at Fishers High School, Weaver has coached in two Indiana State Finals while helping build one of the state's premier basketball programs.
Known for his energy, passion, and player development mindset, Weaver is excited to bring a culture built on toughness, discipline, relationships, and pride to North Putnam.

Above all, he takes pride in being a husband and father, carrying a "family first" mentality into everything he does.

I appreciate all the birthday wishes! I wish I could’ve responded to everyone, but I spent the day driving home from South Carolina.

Our All Ohio Baneville AAU program was fortunate enough to qualify for Peach Jam after a great run in Las Vegas, so we’ve spent the last 11 days on the road. It was an unforgettable experience.

We finished in the Elite 8, with our run ending against the eventual champions. We had them down 7 and showed we’re right there. I’m incredibly proud of our players, coaches, and everyone who helped make this journey possible.

We’re close… and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this program. 💪🏽🏀 by @coachweaver_

Summer ball is officially in the books. 💪🏀
The North Putnam Cougars wrapped up their final game at the Charlie Hughes Showcase, closing out a summer of growth, competition, and building chemistry under their new head coach. Every possession, every hustle play, and every challenge has been another step toward what's ahead.
The work doesn't stop here. Now it's time to take everything learned this summer and carry it into the season. A new coach. A new culture. A new opportunity to make some noise.
The foundation has been laid—now it's time to see what these Cougars can do when the lights come on.

Kobe speaking facts. Volume up!! 💜💛
It’s been 24 years since this program won a sectional championship.

Growing up, I watched one player more than anyone else. I fell in love with his game, his relentless work ethic, his obsession with chasing greatness, and the way he inspired others to do the same. Number 24. Kobe Bean Bryant.

I took this job because I saw potential.
I took this job because I love a challenge.
I took this job because I believe these young men, this community, and this school deserve someone willing to pour everything into them.

Lord, give me the strength and wisdom to lead the right way. These boys will always get my very best.

June gave us a glimpse of what’s possible. The foundation is being built. The culture is taking shape.

If it comes easy… we don’t want it.

Full-circle moment.
9 and 10 years ago, I had the privilege of coaching these great young men. Fast forward to today, and they’re hosting their own camp.

Never forget your why, fellas. It was fulfilling to watch you pour into the next generation and make today’s camp all about the kids.
