Military Macarena Monday ⚓️

U.S. Navy aircraft carrier operations, centered on a Ford-class or Nimitz-class vessel, showcase advanced flight deck procedures with steam or electromagnetic catapults (EMALS) and arresting gear for aircraft launches and recoveries. The carrier, a nuclear-powered mobile airbase, supports Carrier Air Wing operations with aircraft like the F/A-18 Super Hornet, integrating with strike group escorts for global power projection..military macarena slowed style

Something something history rhymes...

4.5 acres of sovereign U.S. territory. 🌊 This 30-second look at U.S. Navy Carrier Strike Group (CSG) operations highlights the synchronized chaos of the flight deck.
From the catapult launches of the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet to the recovery of the F-35C Lightning II, these clips showcase the precision of the Air Wing during deployments and routine exercises such composite training unit exercises (COMPTUEX).

In 2026, the integration of 5th-gen stealth with the carrier’s traditional strike power remains the gold
standard for global stability and American interests. 🦅🇺🇸

In February 2026, the USS Gerald R. Ford and USS Abraham Lincoln strike groups serve as the backbone of these joint operations for Operation Epic Fury. From the guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance launching Tomahawk barrages to F-35C and F/A-18E/F Super Hornets providing precision air-to-ground strikes with EA-18G Growler support, the Navy’s role in dismantling adversary air defenses and command nodes is critical to achieving regional air superiority.

United States Air Force fighter aircraft include the F-35A Lightning II, a fifth-generation stealth multirole fighter with advanced sensor fusion; the F-15 Eagle, a twin-engine air superiority fighter with the latest models featuring advanced Raytheon-developed radars and high-speed maneuverability; the A-10 Thunderbolt II, a close air support aircraft with a 30mm GAU-8 Avenger cannon and titanium armor (currently being phased out); the F-16 Fighting Falcon, a single-engine multirole jet known for its agility and fly-by-wire controls; the T-38, the USAF’s premier jet trainer aircraft; and the F-22 Raptor, a stealth air dominance fighter with thrust vectoring, super-cruise and integrated avionics.

These aircraft perform flight operations ranging from air-to-air combat and precision strikes to ground attack and reconnaissance missions. As always, our videos aim to highlight the aesthetic beauty of these aircraft. Stay tuned for more videos featuring various other aircraft from the Air Force and other military branches.

🕸️ BTS: Spider-Man No Way Home 🕷️
Stunt double @iwilliamspencer absolutely nailed this ceiling crawl scene for Andrew Garfield’s Spidey!

🎬 As William says — what looks simple on screen takes precision timing, coordination, and a team of skilled riggers behind the scenes. Watch till the end to see the final shot!

This test helped the director see how the pacing, performance, and movement might play out — and it’s a masterclass in wire stunt choreography.

Huge shoutout to the crew that made this moment feel seamless and fluid, just like Spider-Man should be. 💪

O Significado

🎥🎬: Full Metal Jacket (1987)

Full Metal Jacket is Stanley Kubrick’s Vietnam War film.

Parris Island boot camp. A group of recruits get broken down and rebuilt by Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, played by R. Lee Ermey. He’s the most terrifying drill instructor ever put on film. Ermey was a real Marine drill instructor and improvised most of his insults.

Private Joker, played by Matthew Modine, narrates. He’s sarcastic, smart, and trying to survive. Private Pyle, played by Vincent D’Onofrio, is overweight, clumsy, and slow. Hartman makes Pyle’s mistakes everyone’s problem. The platoon turns on Pyle. Pyle snaps. Ends with a midnight breakdown in the barracks. One of the most disturbing scenes Kubrick ever shot.

In Vietnam, Joker is now a war correspondent for stars and Stripes. He’s wearing a peace symbol and “Born to Kill” on his helmet. “The duality of man,” he says. He’s sent to Hue City during the Tet Offensive. It’s chaos. Snipers, ruins, and young Marines who’ve lost any sense of why they’re there.

The second half follows Joker’s squad through Hue. Ends with a sniper showdown in a bombed-out building. No heroes, no victory. Just kids trying to stay human in a place designed to strip that away.

Famous lines: “Me so horny,”
“This is my rifle, this is my gun,”
“You will not laugh, you will not cry.”
The soundtrack goes from Hello Vietnam to Paint It Black.

Stunts Unlimited Member Dick Ziker, Stunt Coordinator for the Brian De Palma movie Carrie, recalled the iconic car flip he performed for the film, “It was the third car cannon ever, after Hal Needham and Gary McLarty, so the technology was incredibly new. We all know how the first cannon treated Hal… Bobby Bass really egged me on, but De Palma wanted to pull the plug when someone told him I was gonna get killed! I begged him to let me do it, I had been waiting for this moment for a long time. Even the cast, including Sissy Spacek,John Travolta and Nancy Allen, had been waiting around for hours after their wrap to watch the show. Brian relented and when everything was set I took off - 5 car rolls in my belt broke and I was knocking around the inside of the car till the car finally stopped at the 8 1/2 roll. It was epic!!!” Clip via Fandango Movie CLIPS
