We are so proud to stand alongside our community partners to announce real progress. Speaking about the impact of these new projects reminds us why we do this work—to uplift and support every resident in our city. 🎙️ #COBCD #BirminghamHasMore A woman wearing a black dress with white polka dots speaks into a microphone at a clear acrylic podium featuring the seal of Birmingham, Alabama. Turning empty spaces into new opportunities takes teamwork. We are out in the field with our partners at the Land Bank, looking at properties and planning how we can bring new life to our neighborhoods. 🌱 #COBCD #BirminghamHasMore A woman and a man stand outdoors on a bright day in an overgrown lot with concrete steps. Both wear headset microphones; the woman in a denim jacket gestures as she speaks, while the man in a blue vest listens. by @cobcommunitydevelopment

We love working with dedicated community leaders like Wilma J. Davis, Vice President of the Gate City Neighborhood Association.

By working together, we have been able to fund neighborhood projects that uplift local students and build a strong foundation for the future.

Wilma reminds us that it is often the little things that make a neighborhood greater and help everyone feel like they are a part of something special. 🌳 #COBCD #BirminghamHasMore by @cobcommunitydevelopment

When residents lead the charge, amazing things happen!

Jason Avery, President of the Woodlawn Neighborhood Association, is a true champion for his community. We are honored to support passionate leaders like him by helping to navigate funding requests, cut through red tape, and partner on local development.

By bringing nonprofits, businesses, and neighbors together, we can rebuild and honor the history of our great neighborhoods. 🤝 #COBCD #BirminghamHasMore by @cobcommunitydevelopment
