As a part of Father’s Day, we also have Men’s Health Awareness Month at the same time.
I lost my father back when I was 3 from suicide. I was told this when I was 17, since I was older and could understand a bit better. I had to try and understand as to why this could have ever happened and why my dad did this. It took until my own attempt, 8 months ago to finally realize what men go through and how deep we hide our emotions and problems.
Never give in to what society says about “Sucking it up” and “Be a man and get over it.” Seems like men always get the short end of the stick when it comes to situations in life that are a struggle because we can just “Get over it and move on.”
If you ever notice a man that is quiet, keeping to himself, and seeming as if he’s not his usual self. Don’t hesitate to let that person know that they can just vent to you and you will be there to listen and support them. Before you know it, it could be too late for that person.
Remember to tell that special someone you love them and you are always there for them ♥️

Todays WOD:
10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
Strict Pull ups
Push Ups
24 Inch Step Overs
100m run after each round

First HIIT WOD in a about a month or so and I was COOKED. Time was 21:20.17. Trying to get back into it for the warm weather this summer and build my conditioning back

First lift on 2025 and it was a banger 💥
