So you want to work with liquor brands? Pretty photos & cool videos won’t get you there on their own. You need to understand how the industry works — who makes decisions, what brands actually value, and how to position yourself as a professional worth hiring again and again. That’s exactly why I created the Liquor & Beverage Brand Guide — a 55+ page PDF built to give cocktail photographers, videographers, and content creators the real business education that nobody else is teaching. ✅ How liquor brands + agencies really operate
✅ What they look for in creative partners
✅ Pitch templates & strategy you can actually use
✅ Pricing, licensing & contracts (without the confusion)
✅ How to turn one-off gigs into long-term brand work No fluff. No “AI templates guaranteed to get you hired.” Just straight-up insider knowledge and strategies I’ve used with some of the biggest spirits brands in the world. 👉 It’s live now for $37. Comment “Guide” and I’ll DM you the 🔗 to check it out! #cocktailcamera #contentcreator #drinkphotography by @cocktailcamera

Most of these are just pep talks for myself, but hey, fellow creatives / small biz owners / freelancers / artists / hobbyists / whatever you are… you don’t have to receive every bit of criticism that comes your way 🫶 Yes, constructive criticism and feedback from *trusted sources* is essential, but there are a lot of people with A LOT to say out there. That doesn’t mean you should listen to them. #cocktailcamera by @cocktailcamera

Photographing bartenders > pretty much anyone else 📸 No offense to people who photograph weddings and senior portraits (bless you, that sh*t is HaRd) but… this is objectively more fun. #cocktailcamera by @cocktailcamera

A few of my own “classic” images from the early days of drink photography 📸 I still love what I do, but it’s very much a grind… it’s both my life and livelihood. It’s nice to look back at these photos and this time, and remember “oh I was having a ton of fun!” All original imagery circa 2019-2022 I think. #cocktailcamera #highproofpreacher by @cocktailcamera

I’m getting more and more convinced that the only thing more fun than doing the thing, is teaching the thing 📸🎥🍸 Getting to see that light bulb moment in someone else: when it all finally “clicks” is truly addictive. No prompts, or AI slop, just creating actual, real work. Thank you to @barconventbrooklyn for sharing the stage 🎤 Photos by my guy @justin_sisson, and workshop assist @maxdelprior 🤝 #cocktailcamera by @cocktailcamera
