It’s official!! Coco and Seed will be closing up shop. We have a closeout sale going until everything sells or until Mid December, whichever comes sooner. So if there was anything you ever wanted to grab, now is the time to do so 💚

I originally launched Coco and Seed (or at the time it was known as Ness Garden) on October 1, 2013. It’s 12 years to the day that she first appeared on Etsy! This little project of mine has been through so many evolutions and I have loved it more than anything I’ve ever done.

But I’m tired 😅, and because I’m stubborn I don’t like asking for help, and I do pretty much everything on my own (with the exception of when things get crazy *cough cough* TODAY show, and Oprah Magazine!).

If you have any questions about anything feel free to send me a message and I’ll try and get to as many as I can.

Please be patient with me as I move through this next stage of business! It has been an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE (uh oh, there’s tears now 😭). Thank you sooooo much 🙏🏾

Ignore the fact that I spelled “seed” with 3 e’s. 😭 did I mention I was tired?

The amount of growth that happens within a day is always so fun to see. The whole experience from planting to harvesting is such a surprise. Do you remember the first time you ate a microgreen? The taste alone reminds me of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. How are those flavors packed into such a small plant where you can taste the radish or beet as if you were eating the raw vegetable 🤯 amazing.

A little throw back behind-the-scenes video that wasn’t ever meant for the main feed. But I’m getting excited seeing these again since the EcoPlanters are coming back! ✨☺️

Manufacturing is complete! They are currently on pre-order and will be ready to start delivering in August. Secure your order today to make sure you get one when they arrive 🥳. Tap the link or head to the site for more info. More throw back photos and videos to come. by @coco_and_seed

If you have some mason jars to spare and want to convert your own into a garden, then this one thing will be a true game-changer for you.

You’ll want to have something to protect your roots from the sun. If the light + warmth + plant food come into contact with your roots, then that’s a party for some algae. And not a good party for you. More like a party crasher who drank your most expensive wine from the cabinet you keep hidden.

Algae will compete with your plant for the food, and they come in numbers! So it’s best not to take the chance and provide it some protection from the sun.

You can use anything you have, like a cloth or a sock. You’ll want to keep an eye on the water level to make sure it’s not getting too low.

You can grab a felt sleeve in the shop that has a cut-out for the water levels. Simply slip this onto any pint-sized jar, and you’re ready to grow!
