The roadtrip that wasn't. We tried to roadtrip to Salahah but halfway there we let the fatigue and exhaustion of traveling in gazillion degree heat lead us to turn around and go home.

Something I continously thought this trip was I will never have these moments again with my two kids. Yes I will have more moments but not the same moments. Ill never be 35 with them 11 & 8 again. I hope they remember the small moments like walking, stopping for tile photos and ice cream. Penang had a lot of bougie ice cream shops 🍦. by @cocomamagrace

Life rarely goes at planned. You plan and Allah plans is the saying. We cannot understand the realities but somewhere along the way we have to give in and accept the destiny that lies in front of us. This was supposed to be a family trip but last minute work became absolutely manic for Salah so I brought the kids alone.
So here I am exploring Malaysia solo with two kids in tow. It hasnt been easy and there have been hard moments but I hope one day they look back on this trip fondly. by @cocomamagrace

Coolest part of Malaysia has to be meeting my online bestie IRL 💕 @mamaminacreative and I became friends 4 years ago through IG and we finally got to meet. Next time well meet in Oman then Lombok InchAllahkhair 🌺🌿

Its also extra special when your kids hit it off with friends kids. Its as if we'd all known each other for ages!

She also introduced us to the most amazing Islamic community and farm in KL! by @cocomamagrace

That time I met a stranger on the Internet and went hiking with her. When discussing with the kids they were absolutely shocked at my lack of Internet safety. To which I said but shes a Muslim and I felt a good trustworthy person, to which they replied "mom you could've been scammed" 🤣
