Out of the countless photos I've taken in West Virginia, this one truly melts my heart. I could spend the whole day watching them play and laugh. I feel a great gratitude as I witness the solid bond of friendship they're cultivating. These priceless childhood memories of days spent running and climbing barefoot from morning to night are so precious. I'm grateful to have wonderful friends with whom I raise our nature-loving children no matter how far we are. #friendsforever #naturelovers #westvirginia #almostheaven #childhoodmemories

#okulsuzluk #unschooling #natureclass #naturepouch #explorer #wildandfree

A hajj story that brings my tears every time I read to the children. We prepared the play of “Yan’s Hajj” for the month of Dhul Hijjah. I added Turkish subtitles to the video and decided to share here on Instagram too. May Allah accept all our prayers in these Mubarak days.

Böylece Audible’a geçmiş olduk. #audiobooks #homeschoollife #childrenclassics #audible #hoopla

I cannot express how thankful I am for their pure and strong bond with nature and all living things. Growing up as a kid who was always hesitant to step on the ground barefoot, it was a huge awareness for myself of wanting to strengthen my connection with nature and raise nature-loving kids. Looking at their running outside barefoot, stepping in mud carelessly, laying on grasses with chickens or lizards happily, building homes for bugs…, I actually see how I changed, how I improved inside of me. Yes, I actually worked with purpose to instill these values in my kids from the first moment I became a mother. I always tried to be more mindful of the smallest signs of natural beauty. I stepped outside with them everyday even if it was cold or rainy. I was always very careful not to use negative words to describe the weather or an animal or any attempt that they want to experience in the nature. Even though I was scared or hesitant, I gave a big fight inside of me not to discourage them. Today, I am so thankful for their curiosity and knowledge about nature. I am also so thankful for having access to a lot of nature preserves for them to explore and having like-minded friends who encourage them and create an environment that they feel the nature is home. #thankful #alhamdulillah #staywildmoonchild #natureishome

2021-2022 Winter Season Homeschool Planner I am a homeschool mom who loves doing seasonal planning rather than weekly or monthly. I find seasonal planning a lot more convenient for young kids since it allows focusing on connection with nature deeply and puts seasonal changes in priority. We love art based Waldorf inspired touches in our homeschool and all the projects we do, all academic study we focus are arranged around seasons so we feel more connected to nature. ✨✨✨ Colorful seasonal design of this planner will warm your winter homeschool. I include different designs for some pages. You can print the pages that you need and customize your own planner. Link to my Etsy store is in my profile. 👒It’s been so hot around much of the US lately, so if you’re working outside, remember to be sun safe! 🥵 ⁣ ⁣ ☀️Find shade, create shade, wear hats, drink water, find water to cool off in, take breaks, don’t be outside during the hottest part of the day, and take every precaution you can. ⁣ ⁣ 🧊If you’re looking for INDOOR summer activities, don’t forget to check our Pinterest! We’ve been adding to our Summer Fun board like crazy. We even created a NEW board: Summer Fun for Older Kids! Many of us have learned an important lesson over the past month. There is no convenient time for "activism." There is no "timeline" for advocating for justice. It's not just when something is burning or trending. We don't need to wait until the straw breaks the camel's back. If we have a platform, we use it, period. We will all be held accountable for the space we occupy and the influence we carry and how we use them to support those who are most vulnerable in our societies and those who are oppressed around the world. Thanks to Grace of @plantingmytree for starting a fundraiser with others in this space to benefit @thepcrf. The PCRF provides medical relief to children in the Middle East, starting with those in Palestine. We have personally followed their journey for over a decade, and are grateful for the work they are doing today especially in Gaza. Please consider donating to our fundraiser in any amount, every little bit helps! Don't hesitate to involve your children too-- maybe they want to make a lemonade stand and raise money for this too! We have a special discount code for those who join us! Just DM us a screenshot of your donation confirmation (no need to include the amount) and we'll send you a discount code! Can you help us reach our goal of $7,000? 💚❤️🖤🤍 Click the link in bio!
