The journey from importing and distributing to domestic manufacturing has not been easy. But meaningful progress rarely is.

With over 25 years of experience spanning sales planning and execution, marketing strategy, business operations and management within the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry, Rotimi brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of driving business growth, operational excellence and sustained profitability.

In his previous role as GM, Commercial and Business Development at Colexa Biosensor Ltd, he demonstrated a strong understanding of market dynamics and sales strategies across medical devices and rapid diagnostic tests. His achievements include facilitating one of the industry’s largest single government sale of blood glucose monitoring devices, significantly expanding sales and revenue.

Beyond his commercial achievements, Rotimi has extensive experience in sales team leadership, talent development and strategic business development. He has also built valuable relationships with national and regional governments to advance business opportunities and market growth.

He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Ahmadu Bello University, an MBA from Business School Netherlands, and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA, among other professional development credentials.

As Codix consolidates sales operations across its Nigerian businesses under Codix Pharma, Rotimi’s role marks an important step in strengthening our commercial capabilities, aligning our sales efforts and accelerating growth across our diverse healthcare portfolio.
