LAGOS PINK ALLIANCE IS HERE AGAIN!

Lagos, it’s time to turn PINK!

Join cancer survivors, healthcare professionals, government agencies, corporate organisations, NGOs, entertainers, Nollyhood celebrities, youth groups and everyday Lagosians for a 5-kilometre awareness walk, health talks, aerobics, free health checks and screenings, exhibitions and much more.

Friday, 30th October 2026.
7:00 a.m.
Police College, Ikeja, Lagos.

Wear your pink or order the Lagos Pink alliance Tshirt (N5,000 or N10,000, N15,000)

Bring your friends.
Bring your family.
Come walk for someone you love.

Because when Lagos stands together, our message travels further.

This linchpin is assembling the building blocks of a self-reliant Africa.

Growing up in Nigeria, every really old person Sammy Ogunjimi knew was over a hundred. Then, within his own lifetime, people started dying of stroke and diabetes before they turned seventy. Seventy used to be young in Africa.

To Sammy, the big picture is a healthcare capability map not just for Nigeria, but all of Africa. Reality is a jigsaw puzzle that came in a box with most of the pieces missing.

Each new Codix venture is designed to be one of those missing pieces. A plant for making rapid tests for HIV, malaria and hepatitis. A course at his old university that 500 students have already been through. An accessories plant next.

It’s a gargantuan task. He says they are not even halfway there.
