Nike Air Max 93 “Menthol”

An under appreciated Air Max model. A classic “Menthol” colorway slowly morphing after 8 years of aging. A silhouette that never fit my foot properly because of its loose neoprene collar. A silhouette that should get more love in the modern era of Air Max.

Nike Air Huarache “Dynamic Pink”
Released: 22 February 2013

My favorite of the Nike Air Huarache’s original colorways from 1991. A pair that had to be imported from Europe in 2013 before the Air Huarache became a sneakerhead staple in the States. A pair that was always just a big too snug to wear, so the leather and glue has aged over the last 13 years.

PlayStation x Nike Air Force 1 ’18 QS
Released: 12 June 2018

Dusted off an old pair for this week’s photoset. An E3-exclusive release in 2018, randomly reissued 8 months later at a SNKRS popup in Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII. Not quite as iconic as the original PlayStation Air Force 1, but it does feature stunning “jelly” accents on the Swooshes and heel tabs.
