An incredible afternoon at Sydney Park with the Co-Exist crew 😍 A wander through the park, admiring the wildlife at the wetlands, and removing over a kilo of trash along the way (plus finding a gold coin!). There was no better way to end the day than a picnic on the hill, and greeting the curious canines (though they were much more interested in the peanut butter😂)

Thanks everyone for joining, and we look forward to seeing you all at our hike on the 24th!

Kenthurst Bush regeneration and barbecues With @hawkesburynepeanlandcare

Date: Sunday 18th October 2026 from 10:00 - 1:00pm

Location: Kenthurst - address sent to registered attendees

This is a great opportunity to learn bush regeneration techniques and how persistence in natural regeneration can make significant positive changes to the environment. Participate to meet new friends, learn new skills in weed removal and make a positive impact.

All are welcome! No experience required. The day will be about learning, sharing and having a good time.

Together, we can make a difference as we work towards improving habitat for wildlife, enhancing biodiversity and reducing the spread of the invasive weeds.

A BBQ and tea/coffee will be provided. Please BYO water to drink.

What could be better than free beachside yoga & a coastal walk? Meeting some new faces along the way!

☀️Come join us this Sunday the 11th of October!

🧘‍♀️Yoga starts at 8:30am followed by complimentary tea and coffees (bringing your own mat or towel is encouraged).

🌊Coastal Walk and tidy starts around 9:15am.

Bush Regeneration & BBQ - Kenthurst

Join Co-Exist Sydney, @hawkesburynepeanlandcare and the Wandering Wallabies Landcare Group for a morning of bush regeneration on a beautiful bushland property in Kenthurst.

Together, we’ll help restore native habitat by tackling invasive weeds including lantana, privet, woody weeds, and invasive vines. This is a great opportunity to learn practical bush regeneration skills, contribute to local conservation efforts, and connect with like-minded people who care about nature and community.

Whether you’re new to Landcare or have plenty of experience, everyone is welcome. All tools, guidance, and training will be provided on the day.

After the morning’s work, we’ll enjoy a relaxed community BBQ together, giving you the chance to meet fellow volunteers and celebrate the positive impact we’ve made.

Come along to make a real difference for local wildlife, learn new skills, and spend time outdoors in one of the beautiful bushland areas of north-west Sydney.#volunteering #sydney #community #landcare #conservation by @coexist_sydney
