MAD PRIDE Switzerland — Bern, 10 October. 💗

World Mental Health Day. 💡

This Saturday, Coffee Foundation and The Mental Health Association Switzerland will be on Bundesplatz, directly in front of the Swiss Parliament, for MAD PRIDE 2026.

For us, this is a special moment.

We’re taking our work into German-speaking Switzerland and joining people and organisations coming together around mental health, inclusion, acceptance and challenging stigma— values that sit right at the heart of what we do.

Our reason for being there is simple: to create space for real human conversation, lived experience and connection.

You’ll find our CALL US CRAZY tent at Stand 22.

We’ll be bringing the Coffee Foundation spirit, TAKE FIVE guides and plenty of conversation — and we’d genuinely love you to come and say hello.

For a small grassroots association, reaching the Swiss capital feels like a big milestone, and we’re proud to be part of the day.

This week, @coffee.foundation spent a morning with @elilillyco in Geneva.

We’re moving from mental health awareness to action.

This was not a training session. It was a real conversation.

We sat with Lilly colleagues and talked about the human side of mental health. The difficult parts.

The messy and scary real parts. The conversations most of us were never taught how to have.

I brought lived experience, not all the answers. And that is allowed.

There were laughs. There were tears.

And there were moments when the room went completely quiet.

Thank you to the team behind me, and to Andrea , Maxence , Lucas , Lauren and Raul for the trust. We have some exciting times ahead as we take this work further into the community and continue turning awareness into action.

KINDNESS FRIDAY ✈️

Airports can be stressful places.

This morning at Geneva Airport, a woman stopped me at check-in and said:

“Your hoodie is amazing. I love it.”

That was enough to start a conversation.

Her name was Ayuko. We talked for a few minutes, and she told me she was flying home to Japan to see her mother, who is unwell.

Two complete strangers. One pink hoodie. One conversation.

You never know what someone is carrying in their luggage — or in their life.

Sometimes a smile, a few kind words and five minutes of your time can make a difficult moment feel a little less lonely.

50KM. 3 COUNTRIES. 1 PURPOSE. 🏁❤️

THEY DID IT.

On 12 September, @isthisdariolife and @jpbcarpediem from @hilti completed the Mont-Aux-Sources 50KM Ultra Trail in South Africa—their first ultra-marathon.

They ran to support mental-health organisations in Mauritius 🇲🇺, Switzerland 🇨🇭 and South Africa 🇿🇦.

What began as a cold email became an honest conversation about vulnerability, mental health and looking out for your village—the heart of Coffee Foundation.

Dario and Jean-Paul climbed a very real mountain to help make invisible mental-health struggles more visible.

The race is complete, but the fundraiser is still open. Their support helps us develop preventative campaigns and human connection experiences.

Congratulations, gentlemen. We are incredibly proud. ❤️

@lemanbleu TV Geneva

A big thank you to Gautier Lui and Cédric Pierrain from Léman Bleu TV Geneva for inviting me into the studio to speak about TAKE FIVE — our youth mental-health and suicide-prevention campaign.

It was a privilege to share the story behind the campaign and talk about how we can create more open, human conversations around mental health.

I asked the gentlemen which of them was the drama expert. Cédric is the station’s chef, while Gautier is the young, positive and energetic sales representative bringing great vibes to the team! 😂

We had a genuine conversation about community and how a public-safety message could potentially become part of Léman Bleu’s programming next year.

Léman Bleu has strong community values and has been creating local content for more than 30 years. 📺

Massive day at @triathlonlausanne 💪🚴‍♂️

Great to be out there with Coffee Foundation, meeting some brilliant people, hearing their stories and bringing a little Call Us Crazy energy to Lausanne. @villelausanne @myvaud @loterieromande

And of course, our racing bike project Peppa Pig 🐷 made an appearance — alongside @thomasroos1, flying the flag as a Team Call Us Crazy Ambassador.

Sometimes support comes from where you least expect it.

A few days ago, we received a cold email from @isthisdariolife and @jpbcarpediem from @hilti.

They told us they were taking on the Mont aux Sources 50KM Ultra Trail in South Africa on 12 September — their first ultra marathon — to support mental health organisations in Mauritius 🇲🇺 Switzerland 🇨🇭 and South Africa 🇿🇦.

At first, we wondered: Is this spam? Is this BS?

One video call later, we knew they were the real deal.

We skipped the small talk and talked openly about vulnerability, mental health and looking out for your village.

That is exactly what Coffee Foundation stands for.

Mental health struggles can feel like climbing an invisible mountain.

Jean-Paul and Dario have decided to climb a very real one to help make those invisible struggles more visible.

They’ve also created a fundraiser for Coffee Foundation. ❤️

BREAKING: Coffee Foundation Declared the Official Coffee of the United Nations ☕️🌍 @unitednations @ungeneva 😂

In an extraordinary diplomatic breakthrough, the United Nations today voted to make Coffee Foundation the exclusive coffee served to every member of the UN Security Council.

The resolution was reportedly passed after several hours of tense negotiations, two veto threats, and one delegate asking for oat milk.

Coffee Foundation founder Damien O’Brien was invited to address the United Nations General Assembly, where he delivered a historic message on peace, diplomacy and the importance of not drinking terrible coffee.

The resolution passed.

Effective immediately, all international disputes must now be discussed over Coffee Foundation.

World peace remains uncertain.
