Today marks our 1 year anniversary of bumps and babies meet ups with @brighterbirthing_hypnobirthing!
What a pleasure it’s been to watch so many mums and babies grow over the last year.
A huge thanks to @coffeeat108 for allowing us to use the coffee shop as our venue. We are so lucky to have such a supportive community and the best coffee around to enjoy it with! taken in Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire by @coffeeat108

As September comes to a close, we’ve had to say farewell to 3 of our amazing staff, Izzy, Ella & Connie as they venture off to Uni and beyond. Loved looking back through some old pics! ❤️

Connie came to us this time last year and helped our little crew get through the week days with her energy and smiles 🥰 She’s on to study even more up in Edinburgh as she’s super clever!! Good luck, Connie!

Ella has been our fabulous Sunday barista and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone so unflappable during a rush of cyclists! Your latte art will never be rivalled! Wishing you all the best at Uni.

Izzy stayed longer than we thought (much to our gain!!) when she decided to take a gap year and I’m so proud of how much she has grown this year. She worked so hard for me, adored the kids and I’m forever grateful for her commitment. You will be missed!

We now welcome 4 new staff members- Esme & Liv on a Saturday and Ruby & Chloe on a Sunday. Do say hello to them- training is in full flow so please do give them a thumbs up and some encouragement if you see them! 🥰 Excited for the next chapter of 108.

Jo & I weren’t sure whether to take this next step, our Bumps & Babies Meet Up’s were and are about building a community.
.
A safe space to ask questions of us and other mums and mums-to-be. To learn about pregnancy, birth, the transition in your family and infant feeding and get support in a safe space.
.
@coffeeat108 cafe is closed to the public on Mondays so that first public feed feels less intimidating for our new mums.
.
We have been approached by lots of people asking if they could come along and speak to the mums at our meet ups. To date we have said no, we wanted to protect that space.
.
Then we wondered, maybe we could do both. So we asked our community if they would be happy for a specialist to come in and chat to them briefly, so they have more knowledge of the amazing perinatal support we have locally.
.
The answer was a resounding ‘yes please’.
.
So, with delight we invited Becky Aston Physio to join us for October’s bump & baby meet up.
.
Becky is a Women’s Health Physio, she can talk about PGP, recovery after caesarean birth and return to exercise as well as those all important and always asked pelvic floor questions.
.
To book please click the link in my bio.

Just a heads up that we will be closed this Thursday 1st October due to family commitments. Fret not, we are open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday as usual! ☕️ Don’t forget it’s the Harvest Festival trail this weekend too and we’re one of the stops- come and see what scarecrow creation we have in store for you! xx

Who’s watching Great British Bake Off this year?

I have to be honest, I had fallen out of love with it a bit in recent years, but we sat and watched it as a family and Mabel said that our coffee and walnut cake was better than the one on Bake Off- I’ll take that!

All our cakes are hand made with love in our kitchen; vegan and gluten free options are always on the counter too.

Will you be popping in for cake this weekend? 🍰
