The Closest Thing To God Tier Since Jesus Wept by @colby.rell
On August 9th, 2025, I became the wife to the best man in the world — my best friend, my safe haven, my home. Colby, our wedding day felt like the most beautiful chapter in a love story only God could write — filled with warmth, joy, and the kind of magic that lingers in the soul forever. We’re still on cloud 9! 🤍 To our dearest family and friends — thank you for traveling from near and far, for your heartfelt gifts, and for surrounding us with such genuine love and encouragement. Every smile, every hug, every word you shared left a mark on our hearts. We are endlessly grateful, truly blessed, and forever changed by the love you’ve shown us. And to our extraordinary vendors — you didn’t just bring our vision to life, you poured love into every detail. With grace, elegance, timeless, care, and artistry, you created a day that reflected us in the most breathtaking way. You gave us a gift we will cherish for a lifetime. Perfection in every sense! Thank you.💚 Wedding Planner/Coordinator/Decor: @jdemples9 Catering: @mealsbydesha2 Photography: @b_mckenny1 Videography: @parteephotography Dj: @bigcheeseoutlaw Band: NoizeNfx Band Live Singers: Mr. Edward Duncan & Mrs. Teresa Mack Cake/Cocktail Hour/Sweet Treats: @jmonii_101 Cloud Machine: @babiboio.fu2dk_______ Dress: @beablissbride Suits: @edandearlofficial Hair: @idefine_beauty_ Makeup: @_beatbylyric #blacklove #weddingday #wedding by @colby.rell

“…For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.” Luke 12:48 KJV First, I would like to give God the glory in this moment. For without Him, I will not be where I am today. I can recall on days where I felt defeated, but through God’s grace, I was blessed with wisdom and a steadfast spirit. Secondly, I would like to thank my Village. There has been many losses and lessons learned on this journey, but I would like thank you all for continuous prayers. There were days where I didn’t pray for myself, but by my village’s foundation in Christ and prayers, it allowed me to persevere and continue to weather the storm and find joy through it all. With that being said, I am beyond blessed to announce that on December 13th, 2024, I will be graduating from Mississippi College with my Masters of Science degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance.
