The most elusive part of the original trilogy lightsaber builds: the T-track grips. I am not aware of any public or private collectors that have located any of the screen accurate material.

The screen used Batman costume from Batman and Robin (1997), complete with bat-nipples.

I took these photos while the costume was on display at @mopopseattle a while back - a wildly different bygone era of superhero costume making. by @colefailingprops

The project that never seems to end…

I’ve gone through so many iterations of this build, constantly swapping out parts as I learn about more details of the screen-used prop. At last, I think I’ve reached a point I’m happy with.

Spec:
Vintage Folmer Non-Patent Graflex 3-Cell
Vintage Kobold clip
Vintage long knurl red button
Vintage PCB card
WW T-tracks

Thanks to everyone whose research and hard work led to this build being possible. by @colefailingprops

One of the screen-worn varsity jackets from @thecwriverdale. These letterman jackets are probably the most iconic symbol of the show, and were used throughout all 7 seasons. I had to do some restoration work on this particular jacket when I got ahold of it a few months ago, and now that it’s finished I’m very glad to have this keepsake from the production of one of the most insane television shows ever aired. by @colefailingprops

As the colder weather draws in, layered ensembles become more popular this time of year.🥶

So, one of my favourite examples of the perfect essential layered look for men is the 12th Doctor’s costumes from Series 9, that were originally designed by Ray Holman.🧵

It’s also interesting to see in some of the earlier sketches the Holland & Sherry Burgundy Velvet Coat was paired with the more casual elements.👀

In addition, I was lucky enough to get a better fitting pair of screen accurate Hugo Boss Caleb Plaid Trousers, that are now my personal favourites.🤩

Therefore, with all this I decided to put together my own ensemble, that I think would’ve suited Peter Capaldi’s Doctor, with a small nod to one of his favourite musicians.✨

What’s your thoughts on this look? Please share below!💭

My Fourth Doctor ‘City of Death’ costume. I finished this outfit earlier this year, but most of the finely detailed pieces (coat, waistcoat, belt, trousers, boots) are hidden underneath this 22 foot long scarf that I knitted over the course of 9 years (although really only about 1.5 years of nonstop work). by @colefailingprops

Here is a vortex manipulator that I made recently using my updated 3D face model based on @rubbertoeprops’s design. Not perfect but much better than my last one! by @colefailingprops
