Artist Spotlight: Mythist

After more than a decade of making music, Mythist is stepping into a new chapter, bringing years of experience across guitar, piano, drums, and production into a new future bass direction.

We sat down with Mythist to talk about the music that shaped him, his evolution as a producer, and what he’s building next.

Family & Loyalty
TW- deceased pets & also spiders
We lost a real one this year. Haven’t really talked about it. But we keep shining, we keep smiling, we keep our heads up for those who will come after us and for those we will leave behind. We stay strong to give our family- no matter who that is- the best life we can while we stay breathing.
“I hope to heal the destitute before I leave this vestibule
Between the heavens and the seven circles
Where some dead homies maybe rest, I plan to resurrect a few-
I press the truth against the neck of devils
Look at the youth just like a precious pebble
Meant to be protected,” -J Cole taken in Elysium by @colin.wav

Just a few pictures from our recent adventures together to celebrate our 6/7th anniversary :3 I asked you to be my girlfriend 7 years ago today. We may have spent some time apart during the years but my heart grows ever fonder of you even still. With each passing moment I learn who you are and how to love you better, and how much our connection means to me. Molly, you have inspired me beyond words. Thank you for believing in me and building this life with me💕💕💕💕 @house9molly thank you also for making us such cool outfits all the time and helping me plan so much shit even though you’re fully maxed out in so many ways. Love you honeybear ♥️♥️♥️ by @colin.wav

Awesome trip to port Townsend. We had to send it up Mount Townsend of course! We stayed at compass rose polyculture farm, where I took these night sky photos before the moon rose. We saw a bunch of chipmunks, a snake, a beautiful jumping spider and a very friendly bird. Overall 10/10 quite magical. @house9molly taken in Compass Rose Farms by @colin.wav

Trip to Olympic national park for a 13 mile hike with @house9molly ❤️ what a wonderful way to get away from the fireworks. Saw the world’s largest spruce tree, a giant salamander, made friends with a slug and cooked a bunch of sandwiches. by @colin.wav
