+6 months since me & Moe became a duo. In this dude’s young life he has been abandoned, adopted, suffered a big loss, moved 4 times and his best mate is having to constantly fly away on him. Through it all, and plenty of times I couldn’t see anything worth smiling about he brought the joy back. What a little legend Moe is!
Thank you to all the beautiful people that have cared for him and helped support us over the past 6 months. You know who you are. We love you. 🙏 by @colinjblake

I just loved that experience @chelseafc last night. Being in “The Shed” that close, with those fans, with that win over Liverpool…maybe my favourite live sport experience, and I’ve had a few good ones. taken in Stamford Bridge Chelsea FC by @colinjblake

My beautiful mom passed away last night. After a very long journey with bad health, it was time to float away, pain free, in her sleep, on her terms and without any fuss. My mom unintentionally taught me endless lessons just by being herself. At the slightest hint of a racist remark she was quick to confront the perpetrator, regardless of who they were, or what the setting, as she loved making them extremely aware of her lack of tolerance for their ignorance. She had a humanitarian quality helping and being kind to anyone in strife that crossed her path. She personally sponsored and hands on supported a refugee family from day one of their arrival in Canada and decades later is still the god mother to the second generation of babies as that family flourishes. She was way too incredibly chill about all of my teenage passions. I would endlessly blast my soccer ball against the back fence, smash my drum set trying to play along to my punk rock flavour of the hour, or having that halfpipe in the backyard with dozens of local skate rat friends rolling past at any given time. She was cool with it all. She celebrated my wins and supported me through my lows. She was always my biggest fan.
I will forever appreciate you and love you. Rest in peace my beautiful Mom.

And to all of my amazing friends, especially those close to all of my recent experiences. I’m good.
Using Instagram here as more of a journal and photo album memorial not as a way to broadcast for sympathy. You are all incredible. I’m grateful for you. by @colinjblake
