The dice were not on my side, but the real winner was the friendships we made along the way. Huge thank you to @lexicutioner97 for ordering the cake with the exciting challenge of sculpting with chocolate.

Today I made a 2 tier cake, I also made a chocolate cake topper for it but that’s a whole separate video. For now, enjoy the process of this marble cake instead.

How to make apple pie. This video has taken me ages to make because I didn’t make it until now. The recipe for the filling is in my reels somewhere, but because reels doesn’t do longer form videos I have to keep them separate for maximum minimum instructions. Enjoy! Xx

Let’s face it, I’ve reinvented the wheel. Move over Mensa, it’s me, Colin. You may now comment your ways to line small pans and I’ll pretend I came up with it too.

It’s been a fun week! I got to make lots of fun snacks for an order AND I got to meet the amazing @crawfordcapturesco at the @chicagobakes contest, his bakes were my favorite for sure!

People have been asking, “why don’t you post anything anymore” and my answer is simple “yeah… I don’t know” so there you have it. Enjoy the cake!

This has been one of the trickiest cakes I’ve made so far. And all of it IS cake. The only non cake parts are the 3 chop sticks holding the head up, the cardboard just under the face to keep it aloft, and the cardboard on the back of the shield. The shield itself is its own mini cake.
-
I need to work on my facial sculpting in future but that’s a fun problem to work on.
-
Would you buy this cake?
