It’s actually just Katie. Owner of a social media agency, and proving to myself I can be a whole ass human outside of my business.

Stop acting like the life you want belongs to some future version of you. This is your life. This is your shot. You are allowed to pivot, start over, rebuild, quit, change your mind, and go after what feels true now.

We’re the only ones that can stop the negative thoughts from happening. But what I’ve learned from running a business for 5 years and having the chance to mentor other founders for a year is that it’s a lot easier to change the way we think with a little help from our founders and women in our corner. & that’s the final.

Getting to collab with @whitlauter_jewelers and @lumencreativeco on this ongoing project is a real dream.

From the moodboard before each session. To the content session where we bring it all together. To the final edits delivered for them to post on socials. It all comes together.

And naturally we’re obsessed. by @collabwithkatie

Out of office exploring downtown Aberdeen

I’ve had my head so far up my business’s ass for years that I kind of lost touch with the town I live in… and it’s cute as hell.

So I’m fixing that, one small business at a time.
First stop: @novavitacoffee . Pumpkin spice latte, an apple cider donut I devoured in about five seconds, and a movie playing in the back while I knocked out client content for an hour. The perfect spot when you need to work somewhere that isn’t your couch.

You’ve probably already been, because I’ve clearly been living under a rock. But if you haven’t, go.

As much as I didn’t want to do this shit today (or record it) staying in this dark hole wasn’t an option any longer.
And weirdly being creative actually helps too. So add “go do something creative” to the list too 📋🤣 by @collabwithkatie
