finished 🏁

Stitched this one for Sean, & this was admittedly challenging (in the best way) when I realized the amount of stitch counting I had to do, considering the stitches I chose, but I absolutely love how it turned out

The next needlepoint canvas in my stash is a fun one!

This was such a fun ornament, and I really enjoyed pushing myself to explore many different stitches

Starting my next project soon & currently trying to narrow down the next canvas to add to my stash!

The kids are officially back in school & I’m trying to keep myself busy 🥹

Just finished this ornament, working on another, & have a 3rd canvas on deck - already trying to figure out my next needlepoint project 🪡

We went to twilight at the farm last Thursday @jordanlakefarms & it was so beautiful!

It’s one of my favorite places for u-pick flowers, plus they have an amazing pavilion with a cafe and kids areas they added since I’d last visited - our kids had the best time playing & riding on the train with Sean while I got to immerse myself in the rows of flowers & pollinators

I love that they provide snips & a pitcher for picking, & they will wrap your flowers for you, but a tip if you can manage it - I always prefer to bring my own vase to pop into a bigger bucket for transport home

I incorporated these flowers & some from my own yard into arrangements for a baby shower for @courtneysmiach who gave me the most gorgeous color palette to work off of - I knew JLF would be the perfect place to source flowers & bring her vision to life 🧡 by @collectivejenn

All the heart eyes for our new “old” framed artwork

After many recent DIY art reframing projects, we decided to try @framebridge and I fear I’ll never get over it!

All I had to do was upload the file for this new “old” artwork (a public domain art reproduction from the 1700’s), then narrow down the frame, mat color, & size, & they took care of the rest!

Everything was incredibly well packaged, & it comes ready to go on the wall with a kit

As soon as I saw this quirky crane print, I just knew it’d be perfect for our home & we love how it all came together

It’s been so enjoyable getting back into needlepoint 🪡

My grandmother taught me when I was in high school, and I’m so excited to have picked it up again

I have my next WIP on deck while I figure out what background stitch I want to do for my Friends project, which I *think* I’m going to finish as a fridge magnet? Still thinking that one over 😅 by @collectivejenn

One of my favorite things to do 🖼️

I wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon when I was little, and maybe I’m still chasing that dream but through a different lens

I’ve always loved something with good bones, and vintage frames already have a story, so I just get to imagine what comes next

Pairing vintage frames with “new” prints is my way of giving them a fresh chapter while honoring where they’ve been ❤️

Frame is from @knbsmarketplace & Audubon print is from @audubonsociety

Taco Stackers 🌮

My aunt asked me for a pico recipe & then I then of course I had a hankering for pico…so we made some & used it in taco stackers (that was the best name I could come up with, ok?!)

We cooked ground beef with taco seasoning & then had most of our favorite taco toppings on hand to build them

Heat a large flour tortilla on the stove so it’s pliable, cut a slit halfway down, & then assemble by folding each piece on itself (NGL, this was hard for me to envision, but it worked!)

We also did one “side” with shredded cheese & popped that side down back on the pan to have a melted cheese situation, which is totally optional

All of this (the toppings, the order of assembly) is optional; have fun with it, build it yourself & enjoy!
