Details inside the Memory Dome from our Park Social project

We collected words from the community describing feelings they had over the last 2 1/2 years. We stamped those on to collected fabrics including bedsheets, curtains, and clothing. The space created a quiet area for reflection.

It’s almost time!! Saturday is the unveiling of our Park Social installation at San Ysidro Community Park from 12-3!

These images show the layers of clothing and stories they hold. We love the small details like a soccer ball from a jersey, embroidered beads from a blouse and shirt tags that give hints of information about who these items belonged to and what they were used for. We hope you’re able to come join us and look further yourself.

We want to express our deep gratitude for all those who have participated in this process and we hope it has helped in a small way to begin the healing from this incredibly challenging time. We do this with love ❤️
