SUPER DUPER EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE! 📢 💙🧡 The Pro-Teens aka The Professional Teenagers are taking to the stage to perform original music for the first time in almost 10 years! You heard that right. It’s been 9 years since The Pro-Teens released their first LP ‘Tumultuous Times’ in 2017, and along the way they’ve made new friends with @collegeofknowledgerecords and @mrbongoworldwide and have gone on various excursions and other extra curricular activities. Next month, in August, the teens shall play live every Thursday night at long time supporter and bar own @ethanmanchild @oldplatesrecordbar performing new music in preparation for what will become the next full length recorded album. That sounds tremendous! It is tremendous! There’ll also be an interactive element where participants will be given a review sheet where feedback will be welcomed and will contribute greatly to the final product, being the tremendous recorded album later this year. So you too will be imbued in the freak factor. Whilst the performance is happening, we welcome people making air horn sounds, “you go girlfriend!” and a super complimentary curtsy (which from where I’m from, a little goes a long way). You can also request the teens to “rewind” live and play the track immediately again!! In 2026?!?$10 on the door, DJ’s, live music, lots of fun and plenty of community engagement. Starting at 8.30pm, we’re playing 1 set for roughly an hour. There’ll be posters to purchase, some vinyl floating around and the opportunity to buy test pressings of select albums. Legendary local musician Liam McGorry dropping in the last known copies of his latest masterpiece @temporaryblessings SUMBISORI the last 5 know copies in the land. He performed last Saturday with the great @__ellathompson__ who launched her new single PROMISE TO KEEP on the @mrbongoworldwide x @collegeofknowledgerecords at @howlermelbourne last Saturday. It was a wild as the first two singles, Promise To Keen and Change of Mind are now out n about of Ella’s upcoming full length album with Mr Bongo.Exciting times lay ahead! Sweetly soulful times lay ahead.Also more copies of Ella’s 45 are dropped off today by Liam as that had souled out here as well.
