Two weeks to go. 🖤

Music and DJing have been a huge part of my life for more than 30 years, and over the last few months I’ve had the chance to channel a lot of that experience into something new and very personal to me.

Obsidian 001 is where it begins.

A night focused on progressive, melodic and deep underground music. An intimate room. Longer sets. Exceptional sound. And DJs given the time to take the room on a proper musical journey.

For 001 we’ve got Lloyd Barwood headlining, alongside Robert Glenn and Will Fox and I’ll be opening the night and starting the journey.

I’m ridiculously excited about this one.

If you’ve followed my mixes, caught one of my sets, shared a dancefloor with me or simply love this kind of music, I’d love you to come and experience what we’re building.

There will only ever be one 001.

Really looking forward to this one.

On 29 August I’ll be opening the very first Obsidian event at @mssngpieces.bar before handing things over to Robert Glenn, Will Fox and our headliner, Lloyd Barwood.

Launching Obsidian has been a real passion project over the last few months, so getting to set the tone for the night means a great deal.

If progressive, melodic and underground electronic music is your thing, I’d love to see you there.

Best til last just like your Yorkshires on a Sunday dinner. Ultimate buzz of the day at @wonderlandfest_nottingham were these 3 legends @collsiemusic @will_fox_dj and of course @josh.chantino 🥰🥰 such an amazing vibe whenever these guys get together and I even got a cheeky stage dance with them at the end xxxx taken in Newstead Abbey Park by @collsiemusic

The next artist we’re proud to reveal for Obsidian 001 is someone I’ve had the privilege of sharing countless line-ups with over the years.

@will_fox_dj is one of those rare DJs who can move effortlessly between genres without ever losing sight of what matters most… the dancefloor. Every set is guided by experience, instinct and a genuine love for underground music.

As the driving force behind @the_arena_project Will has helped build one of the Midlands’ most respected underground club brands.

It means a lot to have Will Fox as part of the inaugural Obsidian line-up.

🎟️ Tickets are on sale soon.

Our first artist announcement for Obsidian 001… and one we’re incredibly proud to share.

Rob’s dedication to underground music extends far beyond the DJ booth. Through @progressivespectrum the latest chapter in a long-running commitment to showcasing exceptional electronic music, he continues to champion both established and emerging artists who deserve to be heard.

That’s exactly the kind of passion Obsidian is built around.

Welcome to Obsidian 001, @robertglenndj

Every so often you get the chance to build something from the ground up.

For me, that’s Obsidian.

Over the past few months I’ve been pouring time into creating an event that reflects everything I love about underground electronic music. Longer journeys. Better sound. Music that’s curated with intention.

It’s a little different from what you’ve seen from me before, and that’s exactly why I’m so excited to finally start sharing it.

If you’ve ever lost yourself in a progressive set at 2am, you’ll know the feeling we’re chasing.

This journey starts now.

Next Saturday. @wonderlandfest_nottingham

Looking forward to being back behind the decks alongside my @the_arena_project brothers @will_fox_dj and @josh.chantino , on a lineup topped by @anniemacmanus and @samdivinedj what a privilege to appear alongside genuine house and electronic music royalty.

I’ll be digging into the house music I’ve been loving recently, alongside a few exclusive @lootdroppers tracks that haven’t seen much daylight yet.

If you’re heading down, come and say hello. Can’t wait to share this one with you all. ❤️

Tickets are available via the link in my bio.

See you on the dancefloor.
