Collsie has been rocking dancefloors for over 20 years with a genre-blending style rooted in house, tech house and classic electronic influences. From early residencies at Hotdog and appearances with Hed Kandi to his return with The Arena Project, his sets are built around infectious grooves, melodic energy and feel-good moments. Also the driving force behind Obsidian Protocol, Collsie continues to push his sound both behind the decks and in the studio.

Obsidian 001 was epic!

@obsidianprotocolmusic

Thanks for having me support the grand opening. Amazing people came out for this one ❤️👌🏻

@collsiemusic did an amazing job curating the event and the music was well on-point. I think @mssngpieces.bar is the perfect spot for it.

Was class supporting @lloydbarwoodmusic who of course stole the show 🔥

My main man @will_fox_dj played a blinder closing the night out with some proper Progressive gems.

Missed out? Don't worry, I've got you (partially) covered. I've re-recorded my set from the night and it'll be dropping on @progressivespectrum this week ▶️

The only question is... when's the next one? 👀

This Saturday, Obsidian 001 finally becomes real.

A lot of thought, time and probably an unreasonable amount of obsessing has gone into creating this first night.

The idea has always been pretty simple, a small room, brilliant DJs, longer sets and the kind of progressive, melodic and deep electronic music we love, given the time and space to take you somewhere.

Joining us on the night…

Headliner
Lloyd Barwood - @lloydbarwoodmusic

Support Artists
Robert Glenn - @robertglenndj
Will Fox - @will_fox_dj
Collsie - @collsiemusic

We’d genuinely love to have you there at @mssngpieces.bar Nottingham, this Saturday 29th August, from 7pm for the beginning of Obsidian.

There are still tickets available. Come and be part of 001.

The inaugural chapter begins here.

When we set out to build Obsidian, we made a promise to ourselves.

Every artist would help define the sound of Obsidian. Not because they’re the obvious choice, but because they represent the kind of musical journeys we want Obsidian to be known for.

That’s why Lloyd Barwood headlines Obsidian 001.

His sets are immersive, progressive and emotionally driven, exactly the moments Obsidian was created for.

On the 29th August, we open our doors at MSSNG PIECES, Nottingham for the very first time, joined by Lloyd Barwood, Robert Glenn, Will Fox and Collsie.

If this is your kind of music, we’d love you to be there for the first chapter.

🎟️ Tickets available now via the link in our bio.

Best til last just like your Yorkshires on a Sunday dinner. Ultimate buzz of the day at @wonderlandfest_nottingham were these 3 legends @collsiemusic @will_fox_dj and of course @josh.chantino 🥰🥰 such an amazing vibe whenever these guys get together and I even got a cheeky stage dance with them at the end xxxx
